Sheehan To Go To Jordan - “Peace Talks”
From the (Vermont) Burlington Free Press:
Peace activist Cindy Sheehan cancels Vermont visit
July 28, 2006
Peace activist Cindy Sheehan has canceled her visit to Vermont because she plans a trip to Jordan for peace talks there, organizers announced today.
Sheehan was to have attended a rally Sunday at Montpelier’s Unitarian Church.
The rally will still be held, with Vermont organizers planning to address renewed efforts to end the war in Iraq and pursue impeachment of the Bush administration.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and is free and public.
It’s sort of like Ike saying he would go to Korea. Only different.
Of course Eisenhower was saying what he would do if he were elected President. Mother Sheehan, being a private citizen would be (like John Kerry before her) breaking the law:
TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 45 > Sec. 953.
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
But as we all know, if you hate America enough you never have to worry about its petty laws.

On The Jewish Plot
On Terrorism

Well SG, now I’m stunned, just stunned. I read this on FR and thought it must be a joke until I followed the link. I can hardly wait to see how this one plays out. Come to think Of it I heard that Chavez is celebrating his birthday today in Tehran so maybe this is just a cover story for a little rendevous.

Has anyone emailed this link to the justice department? Just curious

I think you may be on to something.

Question 1: Where is Sheehag getting the money to hop all over the world like this? Most people have to save up for years to take an overseas vacation. Didn’t she just get back from Italy? And partied with McKinney in Georgia? And dropped $50,000 on some real estate in Crawford? She apparently doesn’t work for a living anymore, so SOMEONE must be footing her bill. The IRS needs to audit her pronto!
Question 2: If she DOES go to Jordan, is there some way the INS could revoke her citizenship while she’s there? I mean, she’s certainly persona non grata, if not a terrorist sympathizer. Let the Jordanians deal with her for a while - she’ll find out in a hurry what being an American really means.
That picture is killing me, SG. You can tell she just lost her son in the war - look at the grief!

Israel and Jordan signed a peace agreement (between themselves) in 1994, when King Hussein was still alive and ruling Jordan. I long admired King Hussein, and was deeply saddened when he died. I thought he was a very sophisticated, well-spoken, intelligent and diplomatic gentleman.
I can’t imagine that King Abdullah or Queen Noor (or the rest of the royal family) would have anything to say or do with Shee-hag. I can’t imagine that she’d be welcomed in any manner, given her hatred for Israel, not to mention her ever-present buffoonery. She can’t dress properly; she can’t act properly. She certainly doesn’t carry herself off as a grown, professional, intelligent woman would. She can barely string a grammatical and coherent sentence together. She’d be like the proverbial “bull in a china closet.”
I wonder if she and the rest of her slovenly entourage just plan to show up in their dirty T-shirts, uninvited, and attempt to crash proposed peace talks or other diplomatic proceedings, spewing their vile and nonsensical hatred and once again making a**es of themselves. I really hope the royal family gets wind of this and lets her know in no uncertain terms that she’s not welcome in their country.

Sorry to disappoint you all, ‘Mother’ Sheehan saves her best (NOT) stuff for America. Look at her pics from ALL of her previous trips abroad - she is in normal skirts and blouses. We are the only ones who get the looney, twisted garbage packaged in radical hatefilled tees. At least her ‘patrons’ see that she acts normal when she leaves the US. I can’t believe her rabid desire to ‘grab’ the spotlight and shine it on herself. The world has gone mad and this is proof. Perhaps we can all hope that once she actually goes into the area (Middle East) she will have a better perception of how truly different the world is from America. Of course in my heart and mind I know it is almost impossible for those with BDS to even think, much less learn.
You know, you all make a good point - the millions ‘Mother’ Sheehan and SheeCo have been wasting these past 1+ years could have rebuilt New Orleans, fed most of the poorest of the poor in America, bought all new armor and helmets for all the troops, built a few new schools, recreation centers, or abortion clinics - you know whatever these people tout as really helping the oppressed, disadvantaged, and repressed Americans. Shame that their BDS, lead them away from doing truly good works for their fellow man/woman.
Did you catch her partner in crime on O’Reilly with Laura Ingraham last night? Laura skillfully got Ms Benjamin into a catch -22 - do I admit I’m a hypocrit or shut up. Ms Benjamin chose the latter. As usual. Great stuff.

When is something going to be done about this person?
July 29th, 2006 at 11:49 am
The sad part of all this is that she aborted a trip to Vermont. We just missed a chance to add another a$$hole to that whacko state in addition to Howard Dean and that pinhead judge who gives you 60 days for raping a five year old boy!! Best we can hope for is that when she gets to Jordan, someone will view her as the pig she is…….AND YOU ALL KNOW HO THEY FEEL ABOUT PIGS!!

Ah toby - so right, I know that the candles are being lit in VT for ‘Mother’ Sheehan’s peace trip and to light their sadness since she did not come grace their state with her ‘awesome’ presence, wisdom, peace, love and understanding kumbyah fasting fun times.
I keep hoping that somewhere, some justice system, politician, conservative wacko (there’s an oxymoron if ever there was one), mad murderer or terrorist would just do us and ‘Mother’ Sheehan a favor and put her out of her misery . . . but you know the saying - the good die young, so we are stuck with her.

The picture at the top of this thread makes me wonder what ever happened to Jeff Key (he’s the guy pictured with her). IIRC, he was a budding gay porn star, so I doubt he’d be publicity-shy. Hitching his wagon to Sheehan would guarantee publicity for him (not to mention that if she doesn’t stop “fasting” they’ll be hitching the Budweiser wagon to her…).
So why’d he suddenly drop right off the radar?
I even spent some time doing a Google search on him trying to find something current -not that I have any use for, or interest in, gay porn stars (allright knock it off you guys !) but I was hoping to find something -anything- that I could e-mail to SG in the hopes I’d get that cherished “Northern Correspondent” mention here.
There was nothing.
Why did they suddenly split up? Why hasn’t he capitalized on his 15 minutes of fame?
Do you suppose he finally realized what we knew all along and is now either hiding in shame, or has been “PNG’d” by the MSM?

OK folks, We are going to have to get DW a woman. My cousin is still available if yall want to chip in on the shipping for her and her 3 or 4 kids. She is big and strong, DW and pops those babies out without any problems and she is only 18.
Reckon some regular Marines caught little Jeffy out and convinced him he should just STFU?.
July 29th, 2006 at 1:13 pm
“The picture at the top of this thread makes me wonder what ever happened to Jeff Key…”
I think he is still part of her entourage. At least I think I’ve seen him in some of the more recent photos. But I might be wrong.
But in any case, he’s surely been pushed into the background by the CodePink people.

“Cindy, Cindy, Cindy. Why do you work so hard?”
“Because mother, I’m not as bright as other girls.”
July 29th, 2006 at 1:21 pm
Yes, haven’t you noticed, if the ‘man’ isn’t a ‘grieving’ father or infamous leftist - we just see flash and dashes of them. I think ‘Mother’ Sheehan’s questionable Iraqi ‘vet’ is the only one I’ve seen with any regularity of late. I thought that guy was under arrest for all his ‘military’ issues?
With this group, SheeCo, who knows. Besides you know the statement that applies to all these ‘ladies’ involved with CodePink - hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. . .This bunch proves that over and over and over again.
July 29th, 2006 at 1:27 pm
Well Cindy has a new military stud to keep her company now, whats his name?
Btw here is a little somthing on the new stud from http://www.indepundit.com/arch.....nchti.html
Another Lunchtime Walk
I’M GOING for my usual lunchtime walk around the neighborhood this afternoon, when I come across the Code Pink hunger strikers in Lafayette Square.
wheelchair.JPG
The wheelchair is a new prop. Usually, at this time of day, the woman in question is napping in the shade of a magnolia tree. But today she must have an interview or something, because she is obviously trying to elicit a sympathetic reaction. Or maybe she’s expressing her solidarity with Saddam. Regardless, it has little effect on me. I walk slowly by, declining their efforts to shove pink fliers in my hand as I take several noisy bites out of a big, juicy apple.
The security on Pennsylvania Avenue appears tighter than normal. Something is going on at the White House. Across the street, I spot another security detail. There’s an Iraqi flag flying from Blair House.
blair house.JPG
Then I remember: Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is in town for an official visit. He must be staying across the street at Blair House.
As I walk closer, I hear some weak chanting: it’s a protest. What a special treat. And it’s more Code Pinkers — about a dozen in all — it’s almost a swarm!
protesters.JPG
But what’s this? Someone is wearing a desert cammie blouse… maybe he’s a fellow veteran! I approach quietly.
ivaw.JPG
“Hey,” I say to the man in DCUs. “What service you in?”
“Army,” he says.
“Yeah, I see,” I eye his rank insignia. “Sergeant, huh? Well, Sergeant, you’re wearing your uniform improperly.”
“Huh?”
“You’re not supposed to wear ribbons with that uniform. You’re not wearing trousers, your blouse is unbuttoned…”
“As far as I’m concerned,” he says indignantly, “I’m wearing it EXACTLY right.”
“…And your flag is inverted,” I continue. “You’re disrespecting that uniform, and everyone who wears it proudly.”
“You know what the flag means, right?”
“Yes, I’m aware that the inverted flag can be used as a distress signal.”
“Yeah, ‘cuz this country is in serious distress!”
“Nevertheless, you’re wearing the uniform improperly,” I reply. “You should be ashamed of yourself.”
“Hey, where were you last year, when I was in Iraq?” He demands.
“Where were you in 2003 when I was over there?”
Silence…
I continue. “What do your friends back on active duty think of the way you wear that uniform?”
“My friends are with me in the I.V.A.W!”
“Those are your friends? Man, that’s sad.” I shake my head. “What do they have, about fifty members?”
He shoots me a look. “Hey, we’re the second biggest organization of Iraq vets in the country!”
“Sure you are.” I leave him with a parting shot. “You’re a disgrace to the uniform.”
He mumbles something unintelligible as I walk away…
Back to work.

Well, Cindy will not have a lot of time to spend in Jordan, she is due back in Texas for a date Thursday. She faces off with our county commissioners in federal court. Both are seeking injunctions regarding protesting out by the President’s ranch. Seams she still wants to set up camp out along the road since it’s “meaningful ground” regardless of the fact she bought 5 acres in town!

CrawfordActivist…..As much as I hate to say it, when it comes to legal battles, the good citizens of Crawford are just small fish in a large shark infested tank. The limited funds available to fight the lawsuits of these America haters is nothing compared to the money available from code pinko, george soros, hugo chavez and their ilk. I hope you are getting some good pro bono help from good lawyers in Texas to fight them. I wish you well and good luck.

CA - damn, I was so hoping that the Israel hating, Jew blaming, Bush hating, peace, love and understanding, fasting, grieving matriot was going to be able to solve the problem over there.
I am sure that she/the msm will claim ‘illness’ to the shortened/cancelled trip. Can’t have America knowing she is sueing (again) the Crawford area. . .Have you seen this gem from her GSFP site?
>I think the people of Crawford are beginning to understand that we come in peace and love and that we just have an issue with just one resident: George Bush

Maybe it is just me, But coming in peace and love does not mean sueing people.

How twisted is that! Just take a look at a couple of the comments I received on my website this morning. Multiply it by 50 and you get the usual number of comments I get like this from them in one day!

comment: Are you inbred nazis THAT scared of women with the ability to buy property? God, how STUPID are you dirty hicks anyways?
Now run along, Texas hillbillies, and concern yourselves with something very near and dear to your empty little hearts and souls, organizing the local KKK family BBQ, or attempting to mate with some under age 10 female relative, or beating the crap out of your “lovely” wifes and or girlfriends. We all know what lazy cowards Texas men are anyways, I mean, it’s not like you pea-brained failures in life know REALLY how to serve your country, eh?

Hey, maybe tell that demented, stupid old fascist Robert Westerfield that if it wasn’t for “dumb democrats” (like the brave man Cindy Sheehan’s son was) he wouldn’t have the right to spew the garbage that comes out of his senile old brain.
But I’m guessing that he’s just yet another lazy, cowardly Texas conservative hypocrite who’s bitterly jealous of his betters. Democracy sucks, doesn’t it, silly old goat?
Robert Westerfield, no better than the classless, stupid idiots who unfortunately brought him into this word. Another dumb, Texas redneck, and yet another reason to laugh at backwards Texas.

July 29th, 2006 at 2:17 pm
CA….thanks for the insight. You won’t find their thoughts written in the MSM of course, because it would expose their true shade of blue. What you have posted is, I believe, their true thoughts on America and Americans in general. Just substitue whatever state you want for Texas and the drivel is the same.
What is most upsetting is E. Turner’s post concerning Casey Sheehan’s thoughts and stand on politics before he died. Just another rant while dancing on the grave of a Fallen War Hero. What makes this jerk think he has the right to presume Casey’s thoughts.

CA - Your situation down there is deplorable - a tiny town virtually held hostage because you don’t have the funds to withstand another lawsuit. Can you (or some other energetic person you know) start a nation-wide defense fund for Crawford? Let the rest of the red states really see your situation, and I think you’d be surprised how much you could raise.

Crawford,
Send that stuff off to Michelle Malkin. She keeps a record of all that for her Unhinged. And they are definately unhinged. I liked what I read about Westerfield. He reminds me of my dad. That would be my PhD earning father.

This is just a bit off topic, but it’s an interesting piece of history I happened upon. I know the history–the article is absloutely accurate–but this is the first article I’ve EVER seen, by ANYONE, that makes the following statement, in regards to what the Q’uran says about ownership of Israel. It makes me wonder why, since the “Palestinian” Muslims (and their ancestors) who are at war with Israel (again) take the word of the Q’uran absolutely literally and without argument, they deny the Q’uran’s words in this regard:
“This land (Israel) was given as a gift by G-d to the Children of Israel (Hebrews, Israelites, Jews) and is so stated in all of the three monotheistic religions’ holy books - Old Testament, New Testament and Quran. Faithful followers of Judaism, Christianity and Islam all believe in the same one G-d and therefore must believe the word of their G-d. G-d does not make and break his promises.
(I always thought that Palestinians had direct quotes from the Q’uaran validating that God–Allah–gave Israel to THEM.)
Jordan is Palestine
by Gary Fitleberg - February 2, 2004
Jordan is Palestine. Palestine is Jordan.
This is the royal decree and sentiments of two of the kings of Jordan.
“Palestine and Jordan are one…” said King Abdullah in 1948.
“The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan,” said King Hussein of Jordan, in 1981.
Let’s closely examine the facts of history from the Arab perspective, rather than the Jewish one, regarding Jordan and Palestine.
“Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate,” Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly was quoted as saying on February 2, 1970.
Accordingly, Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan declared, in 1980, “The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture.”
In other words, Jordan is Palestine. Arab Palestine. There is absolutely no difference between Jordan and Palestine, nor between Jordanians and Palestinians (all actually Arabs).
This fact is also confirmed by other Arabs, Jordanians and ‘Palestinans’ who were either rulers or scholars.
“There should be a kind of linkage because Jordanians and Palestinians are considered by the PLO as one people,” according to Farouk Kaddoumi, then head of the PLO Political Department, who gave the statement to Newsweek on March 14, 1977. Distinguished Arab-American Princeton University historian Philip Hitti testified before the Anglo-American Committee,
“There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history.”
According to Arab-American columnist Joseph Farah,
“Palestine has never existed - before or since - as an autonomous entity. It was ruled alternately by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire, and briefly by the British after World War I. The British agreed to restore at least part of the land to the Jewish people as their homeland. There was no language known as Palestinian. There was no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a Palestine governed by the Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.”
These authoritative, honest statements are by Arabs, Jordanians and Palestinians, and absolutely must be taken at their face value and word.
All right, so you’re not quite into quotes. How about these tasteful tidbits of historical facts?
* Jews, not Arabs, have lived continuously in the ancient Biblical Promised Land of Israel, especially Judea and Samaria, for 3,700 years. This land was given as a gift by G-d to the Children of Israel (Hebrews, Israelites, Jews) and is so stated in all of the three monotheistic religions’ holy books - Old Testament, New Testament and Quran. Faithful followers of Judaism, Christianity and Islam all believe in the same one G-d and therefore must believe the word of their G-d. G-d does not make and break his promises. There is a very valuable lesson to be learned by all his children and faithful followers.
* The current queen of Jordan is an Arab ‘Palestinian’.
* Approximately half of Jordan’s prime ministers since 1950 have been Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* More than 2/3 of the Jordanian people are Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* The majority of citizens residing in the capital of Amman are Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* Arab ‘Palestinians’ constitute not less than one half of the members of the armed forces, according to the late King Hussein, as broadcast on Amman Radio February 3, 1973.
* The majority of other security forces are Arab ‘Palestinians’.
* Jordan occupies 77% of the original Palestine Mandate (originally promised to the Jewish people). The population density of Jordan is less than 61 people per square mile leaving lots of room to absorb many more of their brethren and cousins.
Want to delve even deeper? Let’s explore further. We all need to refresh our memory, as ’short-term syndrome’ has taken over. Now for a little history lesson, for those who do not recall the reality of the past.
The British tried to placate the Arabs by giving them part of the land designated under the Palestine Mandate (originally allocated under the Balfour Declaration for the establishment of a Jewish homeland). Britain created an entirely new province by severing 77% of historic Palestine (and an additional 3% was also allocated to Syria), on the eastern bank of the Jordan River (some 35,000 square miles), and establishing the state of Transjordan.
Faisal, who had been King of Syria, was deposed by the French, so the British offered him the throne of Iraq, which he accepted. Faisal’s brother Abdullah was installed as the new nation of Transjordan’s ruler on April 1, 1921 (April Fool’s Day), thereby completing the appeasement of Arab rulers.
During the Arab-Israeli war of 1948, in which nine Arab nations attacked Israel, they took control of the ancient biblical territories of Judea and Samaria (Jewish territory, which was “occupied” for nineteen years until 1967, when it was liberated and reconquered in yet another defensive war).
On April 24, 1950, Abdullah formally merged all of Arab-held Palestine with Transjordan and granted citizenship to all Arab residents and settlers (the vast majority of whom arrived the 1920s for economic reasons).
The Hashemite Kingdom was no longer only across the river so the prefix “Trans” (meaning “across”) was dropped, and henceforth, the land became known as Jordan; i.e., Arab Palestine.
Remember, Jordan is Palestine. Arab Palestine.
Don’t take my word for it. Listen to King Abdullah, King Hussein, Prince Hassan, Farouk Kaddoumi, Phillip Hitti and Joseph Farah, Arab, Jordanian and Palestinian authorities on the subject; and listen to the historical facts, as well.
