I’m just catching up on my reading but want to say <b>great job</b> on these two Cloward-Piven articles. Seriously, good stuff!

We can read a dozen analyses every day about the so-called economic crisis but few shed any light on the ideological boogeyman responsible. Our nation’s crisis has little to do with an economic system that has made us prosperous like no others. But most discussions, especially in the msm, are strictly about economic causes and solutions while the real culprits aren’t even mentioned. Economic solutions alone will be conveniently useless.

Thanks, Steve, for this incisive work. The difference between Obama and Clinton is Obama is a lot more organized. You can see that from how he ran his campaign, and unfortunately, how he is running this cabal. Obama also isn't shooting himself in the foot in major ways as Clinton did, yet.

The GIVE act is a thinly veiled Hitler Youth program. It will use the time-tested formula of fanaticism with stupidity and ignorance. The black youth haven't got a chance. They will get sucked into it, "educated", indoctrinated, and tested for their loyalty to "the party" and especially "the one".

What escapes me is how quickly the money is getting dispersed; And to all the wrong places. Yet, my co-workers, conservative though they may be, are not in tune or interested in where this money is going, how it got stolen and who did it. "Just another day in America", they say. They assume it will all pass. They, unlike me, do not see it as the socialistic power grab that it is.

And how do you overturn a democratic society such as ours? GET THE MONEY FIRST.

Within days of the coronation, the money is what they went after. And got it....and continue to go after it.

Their next step is to keep the nation destabilized....off-balance....prolong and manage crises. Then the cry for the militias to keep order....and maintain the peace. Citizens have been found to be willing to tolerate anything so long as there's no killing in the streets.

So...watch for that next kiddies. Orchestrated and choreographed violence...cleverly scripted to make it appear that whitey did it.

If there's an assassination attempt, rest assured that the government will make full use of it, regardless of any facts, to support their agenda. There is a Goebbels in the wings...or in fact...to tell the people the "facts".

IN 1970, America had a fair degree of cynicism and mistrust toward the media. Unfortunately now, the TV is their only friend and they do whatever it says.

MUST READ. Here's a columnist for a major daily that just flat out says it.

His name is Michael Goodwin for the NY Daily News. Every sentence is a gem

<blockquote><strong>From anger to madness: A class-warfare crazed government mob is running amok</strong>

Sunday, March 22nd 2009

Everybody makes mistakes, and I made a beaut the other day. I was wrong to call members of Congress blow-hards and buffoons and declare them worse than useless.

I was too kind.

<b>I should have said our representatives are gangsters in pinstripes and pearls. They are petty tyrants and the more power they grab, the more at risk we are.</b> Homeland Security should flash Code Red any time this Congress is in session.

It is twilight in America now. <b>The House vote to use the tax code to retroactively punish bonus babies was an act of sheer madness. What started as phony outrage at AIG has crossed the line into insane policy.</b> It is stunning that the vote was lopsided and bipartisan.

The Senate is itchy to go along, and President Obama says he's ready to tighten the thumbscrews on the banks. <b>Is there no adult who will bring a straitjacket? </b>

<b>We should all be very afraid. Class warfare is mere predicate for a witch hunt that, once unleashed, will not stop with misbegotten wealth. It will punish success and stifle innovation. Dissent will invite dishonor. </b>

That Congress is a gang of cheap connivers is not news. Chris Dodd, Charlie Rangel, Charles Grassley, Barney Frank - they have been national embarrassments for years.

<b>But now they are dangerous, emboldened by public fear and anger. They know nothing, but have power and smell opportunity for more. </b>

Missing in action is the Barack Obama who vowed to unite the country around common values. Lately he has been the very opposite of the man he promised. Instead of hope, <b>many have a growing fear of the arrogant government he leads. </b>

Obama is smart, quick and charming, and, as he showed on "The Tonight Show," owner of a thousand-watt smile he can deploy at will. He silkily manages to make the ridiculous sound reasonable. When he insults the Special Olympics, he is forgiven.

Yet even "Tonight" host Jay Leno broke from full flattery to reveal his qualms about the meaning of the bonus tax. "Here's something that kind of scared me," he said. "If the government decides they don't like a guy, all of a sudden, hey, we're going to tax you and then, boom, and it passes."

Obama brushed it off, part of an endless road show claim that he will bring back "common sense" to the financial system and restore "those values that built America."

If only. In truth, there is no history for what he is doing. <b>He is the most radical President of our times, far outside the mainstream of our political philosophy. </b>

He is not a reformer who fixes things. He fancies himself "transformative," a man who reshapes and reorders. It apparently begins with <b>smashing the existing order under the pretext of managing the crisis he inherited. </b>

<b>During the campaign, a fellow journalist confided that "I know Obama is a Manchurian candidate, I just can't figure out what for." </b>

I laughed then, but no more. Obama represents a secular religion that believes, no matter the malady, Washington is the antidote. More government is the chicken soup of his tribe.

<b>It is an illusion of many Republicans and Democrats that Washington can successfully manage the economy and our lives. Our institutions and culture are too big, too diverse and too unruly to be run like a banana republic. </b>

Yet the economic mess has robbed the nation of its confidence, and the vacuum is being filled by politicians bearing promises and borrowed dollars. The true cost of this "help" will come later, with back-breaking debt and a lack of growth and opportunity.

We can't say we haven't been warned. <b>"Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad" is more than folklore. It predicts our fate if we follow the government mob. </b>

I have emailed about tea parties in my state of Minnesota and my brother is going to get involved in Ohio, along with his friends and my relatives. We absolutely need to be foreceful about this injustice of our constitution. It is criminal that any of the taxpayers money was given to this corrupt group being that it is not something that is needed to stimulate our economy. Another thing, ACORN is strictly in place to help democrats/socialists, thus they do not help republicans/conservatives at all, so why is the Obama administration stealing our money and giving it to them when we believe they are a criminal organization? Shouldn't this be impeachable? I do know that Obama and his whole cabinet knew about the AIG bonuses and feigned not knowing when the American people found out, which in itself is lying, just like Bill Clinton lied to the people about Monica and he was impeached for what he did. Why can't Obama be impeached for lying to us and also for stealing our money to give to corrupt organizations? Does anyone even know that AIG sent between 20 and 40 BILLION dollars overseas to bail out banks in other countries? The media doesn't cover this because Obama does not want us to know, this way Obama can rile everyone up over the bonuses so that he can say capitalism is wrong (these people recieved bonuses under contracts from their employers). If Obama and congress dems didn't want AIG to honor their contracts with their employees then they should have set up guidelines and better yet, they should have let them file for bankruptcy, therefore voiding all contracts with anyone. CONGRESS IS UNCONSTITUTIONALLY WRONG WITH WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND OBAMA IS FUELING THE FIRE ANYWAY HE CAN. I am not happy about the bonuses, but it was legal what they got under their work contract.

I completely agree. What they are doing is prompted by President Obama and is a crime. The Obama administration is single handedly leading the mob to employees of a company who got their bonuses through contractual agreements. It is not their fault they are abiding by their contracts. If the govenment didn't want AIG to abide by their contracts with their emloyees then they should have let AIG go bankrupt, thus making null and void all contractual obligations. It is unconstitutional what the government is doing here and if there are any deaths, injuries, etc...to these employees of AIG or their families the Obama administation will have blood on their hands to account for. STOP POINTING FINGERS AT EVERYONE OBAMA AND TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE IN THIS BAILOUT MADNESS.

There are some differences SJ - One I <b>still</b> believe that 51% of this country is not insane Obamabots. And therein is the first lie of the Obamabots - half of the country/the majority of Americans voted for Obama.

>69,456,897 voted for that moroon - there are 300,000,000 which means that 230,543103 [ok the adult portion of that number] <b>did not vote for Obama</b>. Not even close.

>Second lie - He won by a landslide - he beat McAmnesty by 7.3% - which is not a landslide.

>Out of the 131,257, 328 who voted <b>61,800,431</b> voted against Obama [tragically if more than 9,522,083 of the 77,065, 672 (estimated 208, 323,00 American citizens eligible to vote minus the 131,257,328 who actually did vote) had voted] - we might not have had The One (tm) as POTUS - not to mention that 7, 656, 466 is a fairly close margin as compared to simply Obama vs McAmnesty (9,522,083).

OK now that I've bored you with bashing a few Obamabot lies - the other point is that this is not a racial/group issue - it is simply the Silent Majority of America (which in this case crosses all social/racial spectrums) against a small portion of radicalized leftists who are ginning up the paid activists and entittlement crowd to get their agenda forced down our throats.

This is a different time - why The One (tm) did not manage even greater wins and his agenda in one day - is the New media - and sites like this that expose the lies, crimes and pure bs. Everyone is in touch - instantly. Even if the msm is Obamaized and lying - there is media out there that isn't.

Never forget that We The People are the Working People - if we barter/deal amongst ourselves and use our talents - We can survive. Not so with the entitlement crowd.

We The People are the ones who pay the taxes that this Generational Theft Act is stealing - bet that 2009 will see a gigantic rise of citizens making $249,000 and under.

And finally - We The People are the ones who are armed - and as Colonel said - willing to die for our Country and way of life. Doubt any single Obamabot would/could say the same thing. Ever.

>Out of the 131,257, 328 who voted 61,800,431 voted against Obama [tragically if more than 9,522,083 of the 77,065, 672 (estimated 208, 323,00 American citizens eligible to vote minus the 131,257,328 who actually did vote) had voted] – we might not have had The One ™ as POTUS – not to mention that 7, 656, 466 is a fairly close margin as compared to simply Obama vs McAmnesty (9,522,083).

OK now that I’ve bored you with bashing a few Obamabot lies – the other point is that this is not a racial/group issue – it is simply the Silent Majority of America (which in this case crosses all social/racial spectrums) against a small portion of radicalized leftists who are ginning up the paid activists and entittlement crowd to get their agenda forced down our throats.

This is a different time – why The One ™ did not manage even greater wins and his agenda in one day – is the New media – and sites like this that expose the lies, crimes and pure bs. Everyone is in touch – instantly. Even if the msm is Obamaized and lying – there is media out there that isn’t.

Never forget that We The People are the Working People – if we barter/deal amongst ourselves and use our talents – We can survive. Not so with the entitlement crowd.

We The People are the ones who pay the taxes that this Generational Theft Act is stealing – bet that 2009 will see a gigantic rise of citizens making $249,000 and under.

And finally – We The People are the ones who are armed – and as Colonel said – willing to die for our Country and way of life. Doubt any single Obamabot would/could say the same thing. Ever.

This is reminding me of what happened during the Russian Revolution....the "rich" were actually forced out of their homes and sent to re education camps or simply executed by mobs who were given a free hand at grabbing the "people's property".

Then, the Nazis used the Jews to create a common enemy to allow them the take over of businesses, the eviction and deportation of Jews from their homes, and German citizens were encouraged to take the vacated properties from "enemies of the State", and even after the defeat of Nazi Germany, those who took the properties refused to give them up in the rare event that a survivor returned to what used to be their home or business.

We are witnessing this process again, albeit under the guise of taking ill gotten profits from Capitalist pigs who dont deserve it, and we have the fruits of the intent of the left to remove all history from schools, and all sense of personal responsibility from those who's indoctrination of "entitlement" has created a sub class of drones who will do the dirty work of the politicians and their masters to re create their idea of "Euromerica" by any means necessary.

We stand on the cusp of the choosing of sides, where it becomes painfully evident that while the media gives everyone the impression that what is happening is a wonderful thing, history being made, ect ect....they keep forgetting the core value that made this country great, and while they are yet again attempting to create a form of society that has failed each and every time it was attempted, they are deluding themselves into believing their own hype.

In as guarded a fashion as I dare, there are literally millions who will not let this stand, and trust me, those so called liberals who are taking advantage of the largess they now enjoy, they will not seek to confront those who wish to return this country to it's former self. They who have the loudest mouths typically have the weakest resolve, and those who have sat quietly by wont have to "out yell" the left, they will do what Americans have done for it's entire history. And all of you know what that is, they will prove that actions speak far louder than mere words.

Here is an article today called "Protesters visit AIG officials' lavish Conn. homes".(1). It quotes "We think $165 million could be used in a more appropriate way to keep people in their homes, create more jobs and health care, said Emeline Bravo-Blackport, a gardener." However, Bravo-Blackport is an ACORN leader.(2) Anyway, I could go on but it is yet the umpteenth example of how the media hides organizations. Gardener, my ass. I rather enjoy this exercise from time to time, and look forward with glee every newspaper that folds.

I've basically given up on trying to contact my senators in D.C as I have Teddy Kennedy and Kerry "representing" me. If they run unopposed, I refuse to check the box to vote for them. I'm waiting to see ACORN bust down the door of houses of people who aren't even in AIG or other corporations but simply on land some scum affiliated with ACORN wants and claims it as reparations for some imaginary slight. If someone manages to accumulate wealth legally, let them have it and congratulate them for it. These people should be looking for ways to emulate the wealthy and successful not look for ways to tear them down because it is not "fair" that the wealthy got there by working and not waiting for the goverment to just hand them the money.

I also have to love how the MSM seems to love to ignore all of this thuggery going on from the left and even seems to applaud it when they get the chance but if the right did it then there would be huge cries of wrong doing and disenfranchisement going on. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop and start seeing more targeted taxes aimed as sapping my hard earned money away from me to pay for the ACORN clowns' cars, houses, food, college education, ect. I don't see why I need to bail out or feel sorry for someone who made bad decisions and knew it but now wants all to be forgiven and me to pay for all of it. I work hard for a good credit score, I don't see why in the world I should suffer because these monkeys without a job or any marketable skills it seem to get houses and cars they can't afford but seem to think they are entitled to along with everything else I own. I still remember an example my mother would use to explain how alot of these people think. "You go, work hard, and buy a new TV. The idiot without a job and who doesn't want to work but sit on welfare goes to the goverment office and complains and threatens that he/she/they deserve a huge new top of the line TV becuase you bought one. And of course its your responsibility to pay for all of it along with the cable, premium stations, and other pay channels including the porn via the tax system"

"Computer whizzes devised exotic instruments - derivatives, which could soar in value, making instant multimillionaires, but also plummet, based on rises and dips in the underlying value of the paper.
"Came now young geniuses at AIG to insure the banks against catastrophic losses, should the U.S. housing market crash. As the risk was minuscule, premiums were tiny. Payouts, however, should it come to that were beyond AIG's capacity.
"In AIG's Financial Products division, based in Connecticut and London, brainiacs were creating other exotic instruments, such as credit default swaps to guarantee against losses and insure profits. To keep these wunderkinds at AIG, they were promised million-dollar retention bonuses."
"Does Dr. Obama have the cure for the sickness that ails the republic?
"He is going to borrow and spend trillions more to bring back the good old days, though it was the good old days that brought us to the edge of the abyss into which we have fallen. Then he is going to spend new trillions to give us benefits we do not now have, though the national debt is surging to 100 percent of the Gross National Product, and may reach there by 2011.
"Is Obama willing to speak hard truths?
"Is he willing to say that home ownership is for those with sound credit and solid jobs? Is he willing to say that credit, whether for auto loans, or student loans, or consumer purchases, should be restricted to those who have shown the maturity to manage debt - and no others need apply?"

The above from Patrick Buchanan.
And there was this from Michelle Malkin:

"Phew. We're not done yet: As AIG-bashing lawmakers inveighed against wasted taxpayer funds and lamented the lack of accountability and rush to judgment that led to passage of the porkulus bill that mysteriously protected the bonuses, the Senate quietly passed a $10 billion lands bill stuffed with earmarks and immunized from amendments. GOP Sen. Tom Coburn, fiscal conservative loner, pointed out that none of the provisions for special-interest pork projects - including $3.5 million in spending for a birthday bash celebrating the city of St. Augustine, Fla. - was subject to public hearings. That's on top of the pork-stuffed $410 billion spending bill passed two weeks ago.
"Oh, and did I mention that the House passed a $6 billion volunteerism bill (the '<b>GIVE Act</b>') on Wednesday to provide yet another pipeline to left-wing advocacy groups under the guise of encouraging national service?"

So, we are seeing how Hitler built his army. We have Middle-East countries that have shown us the same. Their one common goal is to take over a little country named Isreal. Isreal gave over a piece years ago for promised peace, and it fell. Isreal's growing liberals want to give another piece to Palestine in hope's of peace.
So, as oOlahabomho's militias grow and become more bold and resort to terroism, and they end up with all the weapons and ammo, I suppose they can run us out of our homes, even without a mortgage, loan, or contract on file.

If the only way they were able to make Enron show their revenues and finances was through criminally charging them, then I suppose that AIG is releasing under enormous pressure, yet alone, their President of the U.S., and Republican Grassly's terrorist comments that they should commit suicide by blowing themselves up.
Forty in a bus, standing down a long drive way, saying how unfair for someone to own a big house, yet if oOllabomho told them, I am King and this home is now yours, they'd enter it and take it over in a heart beat. Entitlement. Obama has promised them prosperity and wealth, World Class!.
What is Obama's definition of World Class??? The Best in the World, or taking the world as a whole, and finding the average.

The only problem with peaceful protests is most of us still work and we have to take time off to do it while the ACORN scuzbuckets don't have that restraint, most of them have never worked. I've already tried calling my congresspeople and unfortunately they are extreme, liberal nutcases (Leahy Sanders & Welsh), and all I get is condescending crap just like the one time I was unfortunate to speak to Howie Dean. We need to something to get those at the top's attention, I just don't think trying to out yell the libs will work.

Interesting how a protest of 40 paid 'protesters' (enemy combatants, in my parlance) can garner such immediate and widespread media attention. Compare and contrast to the truly grass-roots protests in the form of tea parties that were censored. I can't take this much longer.

My pot has boiled over... At forty-seven years old, with more familial, material and financial comforts than a man could ever want; at a time when life is at its' finest and rewarding, I'm ready to sacrifice my own life to save this country. Don't tread on me.
