CNN: Dec Hiring Up, But So Is Jobless Rate

From CNN’s Money.Com:

ADP jobs report: Private sector hiring ramped up in December

Private-sector companies significantly ramped up their hiring in December, according to a report issued Thursday. The private sector added a seasonally adjusted 325,000 jobs during the month, up from 204,000 in November, payroll-processing firm ADP said.

The number was far stronger than expected. Economists surveyed by Briefing.com had expected a gain of about 180,000 jobs for the month…

Why do they even bother to mention these economists who are always wrong?

ADP’s data came just a day ahead of the government’s closely watched jobs report, but the two don’t always match up.

Economists surveyed by CNNMoney expect the Labor Department’s data to show private-sector businesses added 170,000 jobs in December, while the government cut 20,000 jobs, for a net gain of 150,000.

They’re also forecasting the unemployment rate ticked up to 8.7% from 8.6% in November, mainly due to discouraged workers — who had previously given up their job searches — re-entering the labor force.

Just as they do now every month, the news media are trotting out their excuses for their masters in the Obama administration ahead of time.

Now we are being told that the unemployment rate will be higher because more people are looking for work.

But, man alive, those "discouraged workers" are a handy invention. They can even be used to explain how hiring can be "significantly ramped up" in December, and yet the December unemployment rate still goes up a tick.

This is exactly what the old Soviet Union did with horrible statistics, using its media organ Pravda, the national newspaper. Of course, they owned all other media also, in true Big Brother fashion.

These are very dark days in America. Obummer circumvents Congress routinely, and signs a bill giving himself the right to detain any American indefinitely, without cause. The media says NOTHING.

My daddy always said if you can’t find work, you ain’t looking hard enough.
So, if you need work, GO TO NORTH DAKOTA.

Waaa. It’s too far. It’s too cold. It’s oil bidness … waa waaa (sniffle) …. (where’s my gummint check and free gummint cell phone?)
