Never will you see a starker example of MSNBC getting away with the sort of deception for which Fox News would be pilloried, especially in the context of race. If you missed Monday’s post about this, go watch the footage (or look at this photo) and see if you can deduce why they wouldn’t want to show the guy with the rifle from the neck up during this particular segment. For all the well-deserved heat that MSNBC’s primetime line-up has taken for its demagoguery — Maddow has been notably egregious during the health-care blowup — this proves that they’re not above pulling this crap during their daytime “hard news” segments either.

most of the clips also blanked out the protest signs of the group the rifleman was stand amongst, they were pro-healthcare pro-NObama signs, very fish.

Reminds me of a saying from the days of the old Soviet Union: “Pravda is not Isvestia, and Isvestia is not Pravda.” “The Truth is not The News, and The News is not The Truth.” CNN hasn’t had a scintilla of truth in decades, and this is just more proof of their Goebbels-esque propagandizing for Dear Leader Chairman Maobama.

I was thinking of the growing shootings in churches and all, and how the media though this was so bad. The bill to allow students on campus to carry guns was shot down.
I’ll bet you most in the media proffession own and carry guns. Papers get threats all the time from ticked off people.

I posted some video’s on this. The man was an African-American with loaded M-15 and pistol, marching on side for health reform. Amazing the police were more concerned the anti-health care might attack him. He would have shot in self-defense. If he’d been white, he’d have been arrested.

A dozen people carrying guns, including at least two with assault rifles, have been spotted mingling among protesters outside a convention centre in Arizona where President Barack Obama was speaking.

Phoenix police said the men carrying guns at Monday’s event did not need permits, as the state of Arizona has an “open carry” law. No crimes were committed, and no one was arrested.

One of the men carrying a rifle declined to be identified but told The Arizona Republic that he was carrying the assault weapon because he could. “In Arizona, I still have some freedoms,” he said.

Phoenix police Detective J. Oliver, who was monitoring the man at the downtown protest, said police also wanted to make sure no one decided to harm him.

And …..no one got hurt. No “right wing extremist” went nutso and fired their weapon at anyone or anything.

This is our nation….and this stands as an example of how freedom can be expressed.

And this excerpt seems (to me) to be very telling:

“The other rifle-carrier, a smartly dressed black man who appeared to be in his late 20s, had an AR-15 slung over his shoulder.”
