‘CNN Shame On You’ Signs Appear At Tahrir Square

From NewsBusters:

‘CNN Shame On You’ Signs Appear in Cairo

By Noel Sheppard | July 07, 2013

It appears some Egyptians are not pleased with CNN’s coverage of last week’s coup.

According to numerous sources including CNN senior international correspondent Ben Wedeman, the [above] sign is appearing in the crowds in Tahrir square.

This appeared to start Wednesday when a petition surfaced at Causes.com called "CNN…shame on you":

To: CNN – You should be ashamed of yourself. Your coverage of the revolution was totally biased in favor of the MB, just like your Government.

MB of course stands for Muslim Brotherhood. At press time, 39,506 people had signed the petition.

This picture of CNN’s logo merged with that of the Muslim Brotherhood seems to support this theory:

NYU journalism professor Jay Rosen observed Sunday:

Jay Rosen: "Based on replies, the "shame on CNN’ signs have their origin in CNN calling events a "coup" and a shot of Tahrir mislabeled pro-Morsi crowd."

Blake Hounshell [sic], the deputy editor of Politico, believes this CNN screenshot might be the culprit:

Notice the caption in the upper-right corner reading "Cairo/Pro-Morsy Pr…" …

And the protests have moved to America. CNN’s New York headquarters:

Of course it’s not really fair to blame CNN for supporting Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood. In fact, they are simply and blindly supporting Obama, who must be still supporting Morsi. Otherwise, CNN wouldn’t be covering the situation this way.

So, was it a coup or not? If it wasn’t a coup, then what was it? And if it WAS a coup, then according to US law, we cannot send any more aid money to Egypt. CNN says it was a coup. And the military says they don’t need our money.

I had coup for lunch. Definition – a brilliant, sudden, and usually highly successful stroke or act.

I had a brilliant and sudden luncheon with a Publisher and pulled off a successful coup!

Not just the erroneous caption but CNN is more of a whore house show that conflicts with Islamic beliefs.
Homosexual and celebrity interviews. Muslims hate Hollywood, because it weakens the Islamic terrorists self-control and they end up raping women, and homo-sex as an alternative to sex with a woman.
