I hope they were “brutallized”. They need to see the movie “TheStoning of Soraya, M.”about an Iranian woman who was stoned to death. In Iran when they say “let’s all get stoned” they mean that literally. Medea Benjamin is an Islamofascist loving commie. Period.

It was not tear gas. They are called “sound” smoke bombs. Even with a gas mask on, tear gas would burn the exposed skin, and they’d run. It’s a hoot that the cross-dresser, on the bull-horn keeps saying if you quit shooting at us we’ll leave. duh. Just propaganda for their video’s.

I’m really surprised that Israel even let these whackadoodles into their country. It’s amazing how people like this travel abroad to denigrate the US with their protests but the first thing they scream when confronted by the local law enforcement it that they are Americans and you can’t do this because they have rights. These morons don’t realize that the moment they leave the US, they are fair game. I have always thought when we get someone from another country who breaks our laws they ought to get the same rights as they have at home, not rights that American citizens have. It frosts my nether regions when I apprehend an illegal and the first thing they say is “I want a lawyer, I know my rights.” Like that is something they’re told to say.

Code Pink is full of very strange women. At my university the grad students organized a conference and a Code Pink poet was the keynote speaker. She bragged about showing up at people’s speeches and interrupting them, throwing red paint on them, and sabotaging their ability to speak. The Code Pink woman saw no contradiction in the fact that she stifles other people’s speech, which is especially problematic now that she’s allied to the party in power.

At this point, in the US at least, they are brownshirts.

I can go for hours on this subject. I lived in Israel– and worked in the West Bank– for a long enough time to know that something really outrageous or just plain stupid was done to agitate IDF soldiers, particularly in sensitive areas like the WB and the Gaza border, where these activists planted their sorry behinds. Once you get in their faces or don’t follow commands, well, you get what you deserve– especially in a place as sensitive to Israel’s security as the Erez crossing. Any soldier of any army would have a similar– or worse– reaction. Anyone with half a brain knows this piece is activist journalism.
It’s already been established that peace organizations bend their own rules when it comes to Israel and cannot be taken seriously. Everyone from codeBULL to the U.N. has tiptoed around their own standards in order to specifically indict Israel on some sort of war charge. (I wonder why they’re not going out to Sudan to protest Bashir’s human rights abuses.) Sometimes, I feel like I’m the only one in the world who understands that “peace” organizations will not be satisfied until Israel is dissolved.
The “apartheid wall” reduced terrorist attacks in Jerusalem originating from the West Bank by almost 100%. But of course, Israel is the bloodthirsty fear-monger. Just throwing that out there.

Netanyahu’s speech was heralded as Israel finally embracing a Palestinian state, but it wasn’t anything like that. That speech was a big “*bleep* you Obama” followed by a challenge to him to tell the world what he really thinks when they have those shoe sole telephone conversations. He had one sane and rational request: that Israel be recognized as legitimate. And the first thing we hear today from Middle East leaders is “*bleep* you Israel.”

Thank you! I don’t think it’s so unreasonable to ask that your “peace partner” recognize your right to exist. All of this malarkey about “Netenyahu endorses Palestinian Independence” et al is total male cow excrement. It’s just another way for our lame MSM to come back a few months from now pointing the finger and say, “But YOU said you SUPPORTED it…waaah” What Netenyahu essentially did was expose Hamas, Fatah, et al for the cowardly thug terrorists they are. Instead of coming right out and saying, “Screw you,” he basically told them, “Yeah, I’ll negotiate… when you completely abandon every ideal your Jew hating, Islamo-facist terrorist organizations were founded on.” He knows they’ll never do it. And he comes out looking great by being the “reasonable” one.

And I have no doubt the actions of the Code Pinkers is being minimized/left out… been to Israel… never felt safer in my life… would take quite a bit to get that sort of reaction from an IDF soldier… and perhaps these code pink clowns forget all of the technology, intelligence, weaponry, and training we get from Israel…

I liken it to this… the annoying younger sibling who gets up in your face and says, “I’m not touching you, I’m not touching you.. I’m not … OW! I’m telling! Mo-oooooom!”

Reminds me of former Representative Cynthia McKinney alleging having been brutalized by the Capitol police.

Benjamin ought to try going to Iran to protest some of their policy.

Ain’t it something how the only governments these codepinkos try to agitate against are the freest, most advanced nations? Of course she wasn’t expecting that to happen; bullies are usually surprised when somebody stands up and bloodies their nose.

Perhaps this really did happen though. Was it really out of proportion in a country where terrorism is such a daily threat? Perhaps instead of arguing with such inane,infantile ideas like “war is never the answer” they wanted to demonstrate just how rapid and effective the mere butt of a rifle can be in quelling conflict. Then they turned around and took him by ambulance to a hospital where he received lifesaving treatment for his asthma attack (I would personally have traveled with my inhaler).

And when she screams outrage at being led away her very words point out how much this woman and her group are way in over their heads with the IDF. Gee, what were the odds that Egypt would allow an anti Israeli protest in Cairo? Egypt, where the local papers routinely print garbage about Jews devouring babies and the blood of their enemies.

I’ve been to Israel. The soldiers there have to deal with freakin’ suicide bombers, and they certainly shouldn’t be expected to suffer out-of-touch, whiny foreign protesters hurling insults and them, their service, and their country.
