Narcissus was a handsome man/god of Greek Mythology. One morning he went to this crystal clear pond to drink. There he saw the reflection of a gorgeous young man. He fell deeply in love with him. So in love that he could not bear to leave the pond. He stayed there wasting away for his gorgeous reflection until he died...

"The term narcissism refers to the personality trait of self-esteem, which includes the set of character traits concerned with self-image or ego. The terms narcissism, narcissistic, and narcissist are often used as pejoratives, denoting vanity, conceit, egotism or simple selfishness." Wikipedia

I looked this up and wouldn't you know it, the Won™'s picture was staring back at me.

He refers to himself on average once every 59 words.

A slow rate of speech (his is probably slower than slow) is 120 words per minute, so he can't resist mentioning himself less than twice a minute.

Even though the subject of the paean to himself is purportedly trials for Guantanamo detainees.

This is the fuhrer of our country.

Look at that frame/photo. Wow! He looks like he's either higher than a kite (I've seen glue sniffers that look more alert) or he's severely hung over.

His (admitted) drug use has cooked this halfrican.

These innocent people, who were just walking down the street on their ways to do work with poor children when captured, must be given big, expensive, show trials.

A few years ago, I gave a speech in Boston that people talk about from time to time.

Do people talk about this speech the way they talk about.....oh, when Lincoln gave his speech at Gettysburg, or, say, when Churchill spoke to the citizens of Great Britain? Or even like when Sinbad delivered a particularly clever one-liner on TV? Which is it? Because quite frankly, I don't know of ANYONE who, in 2006 was quoting Barack Obama on anything, let alone talk about him. And these days, people are quoting you in the negative context...so....there's a clue right there that indicates you might want to take advantage of the opportunity to keep your mouth shut.

This, from his measured-in-seconds political career, no doubt.

To say nothing of the recorded facts that pertain to this clown, he is truly in love with himself. Is there a word stronger than "absurd"?

And, as can be shown repeatedly with great reliability, he is 180 degrees out from anything he ever said, will say or says now.

Guaranteed, he will contradict himself every single time, tailoring his latest effort at oral masturbation to the crowd he is trying to impress, only to later say the exact opposite to the next crowd of drooling autograph-seekers.

In grade school, we used to just calls people like this "losers".

I guess now we call them "great speakers".
