I must be living in an alternative universe – in my world people like Kennedy, Franks, Dodd, Obama and Jefferson would be run out of town on the last rail (after trial and time served) Yet in today’s Wrong Is Right society – they get re-elected and touted as the saving of America.

I’m with Ann – try them for leading America into this entire mess ‘for good intentions’. Which is the real bs – they just want the votes, the favors, the money, the bribes and finally to keep enough of America in poverty to continue voting for them.

Of course both Gorelick and Raines are virtually guaranteed cabinet positions in an Obama administration, so it all matters little to them.

Democrats are never held accountable as long as they tried their best – we’ve seen that time and time before from Bill (“I’ve worked harder than I’ve ever worked before”), Janet Reno (“But there were children in danger at Waco!” and “We’re just protecting Elian Gonzales’ father’s rights) and innumerable others.

Nope, no one will ever ever know who they are or of Barney Frank and the rests’ dealings with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Obama will make sure those records are cleansed once he takes office.

Dont get me started on Gorelick, she has been linked to: Fannie and Freddie (Collapse), WTC (building the intelligence wall, so FBI, CIA, NSA couldn’t share data), and also to Don’t Ask Don’t tell policy making for the military. As far as someone who has done more harm to their country while serving it… She is at the TOP of the list.

Amen to that mediaman – Raines is certainly majorly culpable, but it is downright astounding that Gorelik is walking around free and has continued to have positions of power and responsibility after her “Wall” work in the Clinton years. And that she’s never been prosecuted, not even investigated – probably no one has even spoken sternly to her. Hell, she was even on the 9-11 investigating committee – if that isn’t the world turned upside down, I don’t know what is.

One would think, at the very least, that Franklin Raines & Jamie Gorelick should be breaking rocks in the joint.

Gorelick should be sharing a jail cell w/ the blind sheik, for what she did to national intelligence gathering capability.

Instead she was appointed to preside over the congressional commission that investigated why the intelligence was deficient.

I hate to say it, but this country is screwed.

Of course Ann is right, but to the majority of Americans who are either too busy or too stupid to study the issue. It is all Bush and Rupublicans fault.
