Incidently, I can’t recall which network morning show it was, but they were talking about the protests and in one clip, showed a bunch of people chanting USA USA in an outside crowd setting. Then in the very next clip, they showed Scott yelling how his meeting was “taken over” by protestors. Of course this was all done in order to give the illusion that Scott’s town hall had degenerated into a free for all, when in fact it had not and he had that meltdown when asked a simple, polite question by that doctor.

Brainwashed.

Sycophant.

First Katie…you had better check facts. Did you ever stop to think that the congressman in question was the one who is responsible for the swastika? And ‘why’ Katie? Because he realized that the person who was questioning him was a constituent and physician living in the congressman’s district and he had to cover-up his ignorance and bad behavior by trying to play the “race card” and thus hopefully divert attention away from himself.

The only “ignorance” on display Katie is yours. The only one who needs to “take a breath” here is you Katie. It’s people like you who are part of the problem and I refuse to have some f**king airhead like Katie Couric lecture me on anything. Especially, policy issues and behavior.

They are neither bright nor insightful. They have merely honed their 10th grade creative writing skills to a fine, albeit mundane “edge”. The problem is that they, themselves have ended up believing they are the only wizards who can do that trick before the king and thus be recognized for “revelation”.

Then, it goes on for such a period of time as certain types consider it a “long and illustrious career”. The biography of these types of people could be quite fascinating from a psychological standpoint, but alas, we will never know what they were really like since whomsoever would write it, would they, themselves be such a master of spin that all you’d get were things like “Katie, a typical midwestern farmgirl with dreams of the big city herself was nothing very spectacular. But underneath that adorable smile and cornhusker exterior, she was as feisty and rambunctious a fighter as any heavyweight in the ring”.

There, see how easy that is? It’s all crap but it sure stirs the 16 year old mind. And here in America, it’s what sells news. Every single thing, even locally, they break from the “newsperson on-the-scene” to their carefully “crafted” biodrama of the four-car pileup on the interstate, replete with the same old descriptors they lifted off the floor of some third rate newsroom.

Joe Walsh’s “Dirty Laundry” was a remarkable piece of music for the way he told about the news desks of the world. There was a time when people reported the news. Now, they all take tips and hints from tabloids..the ones we used to all joke about (Is your dog really an alien?) and so on.

Then, to top it off, even with ridiculously slumped ratings, she still “earns” what, millions? Why? To spend a half hour on the tube before the US public and read a teleprompter. And not just to sell us the news but to be sold to us as well.

I haven’t watched MSM for over a decade. I think they are all out-of-work actors who actually think they are important.

I’d have more pride if I shoveled crap for a living than to do what they do.
