Cuba has never permanently hosted Russian or Soviet strategic aircraft.

Q: Are there Russian/Soviet bombers hosted in Cuba now?

A: No? Then any past hosting wasn’t permanent, was it?

The irony here is that Russia is more economically strapped than we are to sustain such operations. But obviously they have a bigger set of cajones than Obama and his select cadre of brassholes in the Pentagon. Somehow in his state of mind he’ll blow this all off and reason that fair is fair since we have personnel and missiles right at Russia’s doorstep. But to me, given Russia’s past, I see no moral equivalence in this situation.

It would nice if the idiot would stand up to the Russians but I’m afraid he won’t because it wouldn’t be fair for us to have missiles and and troops in Europe and the Russians not to have at least bomber in our hemisphere. I kind of think that if they made a move towards our airspace our plane would dispatch them it short order. Besides the Russian need a place to land that junk they cal aircraft. The only thing they have that’s worth a darn is what thewy stole from us.

The Cuban missile crisis wouldn’t have been a crisis to obama, this dangerous show of force won’t be either, and Putin knows it. Putin will keep pushing the US with tactics like this and get away with every one, and might just take a few billion from hillary as a side bonus because of it all. Sickening. Lapdog is right.

“The One” will probably cut a bad deal (deals?) with the ruskies and give away something important, like missile defense (which actually works!), for a promise that the obsolete bombers will be removed or “better yet”, “not targeted at us”. A better response would be to increase our air defenses and tell them to put all the bombers they want in Cuba and Venezuela, our fighters need the targets!

On the bright side, it looks like that “Overcharge” button is working just fine!

Every Country’s leader has sensed the weakness and resolve of Obama. They also see the glaringly incompetent party line appointments for positions of great importance, they have long ago detected that there is zero experience or anything that poses a threat to their tactics.

This is nothing more than an “in your face” by Putin to show the rest of the world that as a power, the US has been regulated to lapdog status, and anyone who wants to keep their own country in one peace better bow to the new dog on the street.

In a world where we are threatened by so many influences….canine metaphors abound. Power hunger socialists are the pack dogs roaming free, Islam is the rabid dog attacking anything that moves, and the United States is the meek mongrel shivering under the porch, hoping for scraps if they submit quickly enough.

Bombers in Cuba? Then B-1’s in the Czech Republic! I know, upping the ante is dangerous. What is more dangerous is telegraphing our unwillingness to check their aggression move for move. It wouldnt take more than one tactical move……and Putin would back off knowing he cant fight a truly United States.

That’s why we now have Soviet bombers on their way to our back yard….Obama’s Hopeychangey hoopla didnt really impress hard line marxists who have been drooling for decades for this opportunity. Escalation of hostilities isnt going to be with them. It is going to be with “us”.

This is probably Slow Joe’s “test”.

I’m betting The Moron’s response will be to give a speech in which he describes the “new realities” of the modern world, which of course is that the U.S. cannot be the world’s cop and therefore is not obligated to take any action whatsoever to Russia’s understandable decision to cooperate with its allies. He will explain that we simply cannot treat every action of other country’s as provocative. After all, that is what got us into the quagmire in Iraq, and what fostered such a climate of hatred in the U.S. that has justifiably inflamed peace-loving Muslims around the world. Since U.S. dominance has caused so many problems in the world, now is the time to try “another approach”.

The media will be thrilled with such a nuanced approach.

He is busy destroying the wealth of the country. Destroying our national security looked to take longer…..but this new crisis shouldn’t be wasted either……now is the time to take the U.S. off its pedestal and make the world safer by surrendering to Russia.
