DC ‘Prostitution Free Zone’ For Inaugural

From a website seemingly dedicated to the goings on in the District of Columbia, the DCist:

D.C. Declares a ‘Prostitution Free Zone’ for Inauguration

Reader Jason Cragg sent over this capture of a sign placed at 5th and Eye Streets NW, right in the middle of Inauguration Island. You’re reading it right: portions of downtown have been declared a "Prostitution Free Zone" for the Inaugural celebration period. The best part? It has an expiration date, as though at all other times, hookers have free reign over downtown Washington — hey, at least the MPD is honest.

Truth be told, this isn’t the first time the MPD has declared a PFZ. You can read about how the law works here, but the basic idea is that it allows police officers to issue fines of $300 to a group of two or more persons found congregating in a public space or property within the PFZ for the purpose of engaging in prostitution or prostitution-related offenses. Still, these signs are sure to look mighty funny to most people walking through the area on their way to the Inauguration on Tuesday.

Talk about spitting into the wind.

Still, we would like one of those signs.

    Aperantly there is also a “homeless-free zone” as well – looks like they are replicating the DNC all over again, yet no mention of it in any main stream meda – imagine if this were Republican inaguaration.

    It used to be easy. When Clinton was president, he’d just roll down the street in the presidential limo with all the doors open. Like honey to a bee. Course, well, not really, more like flies. I forgot what attracts flies, I bet it would be more appropriate.

      Ya can’t tell the difference without a score card. My question is, if the DC cops are going to exclude all the undesirables from the inauguration, who’re we going to inaugurate? And to what office?

      Does this mean that whilst the Messiah ™ is present in DC. all laws for “commoners” are suspended?

      As such, it appears to me that we can expect entitlement program costs to skyrocket and sin laws to be completely ignored in DC, for what, the next 4, 6, 12, or uhhh, what 16 years or so!! Billy Jeff would be proud.

      Ah yes indeed, SanFranNan and Dingy Harry, along with the “Chosen One” ™, are certainly purging our Federal goverrnment of the “culture of corruption”.

      The irony of the whole thing is just, oh my, so rich …sigh. ;o)

    The whole of D.C. is a whorehouse. Everything is for sale. It pains me to say it, because we were once a great country, but we have lost our way and given up our inheritance to false gods.

    In a few days we’re going to witness The Second Coming, Hollywood style. And then it will be The Great Depression, Hollywood style.

    It’s an open question whether or not we can come back from this pop-culture morass.. The majority of our people are ignorant halfwits, and proud of it.

    With hookers, at least the public gets SOMETHING for their money. When it comes to democrats (and a lot of republicans lately) we the people pay to get screwed by them. We’d all get a lot more value for our cash by just going with the hookers instead.

    The reason they have established a “no prostitution zone” in DC is because the real whores have gained power in the House, the Senate, and the Oval Office. We are going to get screwed a lot longer, and for a lot more money than any hooker could dream of. AND, the big difference is, Washington’s democrats are doing it legally!

    I read this to be prostitution is free in this zone. Think B. Hussein will take advantage of the freebies. I can only hope so, I mean have you took a good look at Mrs. B Hussein, that could be whats attracting the flies. I”m a sick bastard for pointing out the obvious.
