Dean Calls: 9/11 Mosque ‘A Real Affront’

From the New York City ABC radio affiliate, WABC and CBS News:

Howard Dean: NYC Mosque a "Real Affront"

August 18, 2010

Former Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont governor Howard Dean, a hero to many liberals, has called efforts to build an Islamic community center two blocks from the site of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks "a real affront to people who lost their lives."

"That site doesn’t belong to any particular religion, it belongs to all Americans and all faiths," he said.

Dean, speaking on New York’s WABC-AM radio, said he would like to see a compromise on the issue – one that includes moving the Islamic center to another site. He adds, however, that "people should be able to worship as they see fit."

Dean argues that though the backers of the project are "trying to do something that’s good" and integrate Muslims "into the fabric of the United States," the issue is "very delicate" and there should be a compromise "so that everybody is accommodated by this."

How ‘out of it’ can Mr. Obama be, when even the ultra kooky Howard Dean does a better job on the Ground Zero Mosque question than he does?

Howie must be off his meds to make a statement like that.

You know about bell curves, right? 99% of any group fall within a tight band, then there are a few stragglers out on the fringes. But the really interesting thing about bell curves is that in large groups there are always people that are way, WAY out on the fringes.

Major league baseball is a great example. First, every major league baseball player is already out on the fringes of the general population, so MLB players really aren’t in a bell curve. Even so, the skill sets are fairly tightly clustered at any point in time. 20 or so players on any one team could be swapped out with 20 players on another team and the teams would still be equivalent. Then there are the really good guys. Those are the ones who make the Hall of Fame or contend for it. And then there are the freaks…Mantle, Mays, Clemens, Ozzie Smith. And then…..there is Babe Ruth….beyond freakdom…..so unbelievably skilled that he makes other major leaguers look like high-schoolers.

Howard Dean is a Hall of Famer Leftist Kook.

Obamy is the Babe Ruth of lunatic leftists.

I think you’re on to something.

I’ve seen Howie Dean up close and when he’s in a liberal snit, he is down right scary but there is still something, I guess the best term is American, about him. I can “get” him though, crazy as he may be but the Bamster is in whole other league.

If you introduced me to him without any point of reference at all then asked me where I thought he was from, I might say the Middle East, or Southeast Asia or even Africa but there is no way in hell I would say he is American. There is nothing at all American about him, not his speech, his mannerisms and certainly not his thoughts and ideas.

I just wish the Dems had come up with a viable black candidate other than this vile, disgusting walking, talking dungpile. The Hildabeast by contrast would be a breath of fresh air. November can’t get here soon enough.

This is the second time ‘ol Howie has done something right in his political career.
Next one will come in about 10 years.
