Dem Primary Turnout Is Lowest In History

From the Wall Street Journal:

Democrats’ Primary Turnout Lowest on Record

October 14, 2010

Fueled by tea party activism and hotly contested races, Republican participation in this year’s primary elections was up. But Democratic participation fell to a record low, leaving overall voter turnout at the second lowest level ever for a midterm election, an analysis by American University’s Center for the Study of the American Electorate concludes.

Think about that. The Democrat turnout was so low it dragged the overall turnout to the second lowest on record. Despite the obvious fervor on the other side.

Some 9.8% of voting-age adults participated in GOP primaries this year, the highest percentage in a midterm election since 1970 and well above the 7.3% who cast ballots in the 2006 midterm, the study found. Some 8.2% of voting-age adults took part in Democratic primaries, down from 9% in 2006 and the lowest percentage of all midterms since 1930.

Several states saw surges in Republican primary participation, including New Hampshire and Wisconsin. GOP turnout was at record levels in Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas…

Note that these are states that also seem to have a large Tea Party presence.

But in any case it is clear that citizenry are voting with their feet. Even when people stay home and put their feet up, they are effectively voting.

Of course, the Democrats better hope that their members are just ‘apathetic.’ And that they aren’t actually voting for the other team.

What does Obama do? The question was during the campaign was, “What has he done?”

I mean, he IS the establishment now, and all he does is run to a microphone and talk our ear off. He is not inspiring, he just blames everyone else like a child, he has no genuine ideas, just recycled Marxism. He goes on vacation, plays golf, says one thing does another, and lied about nearly every single promise from the campaign trail.

Why would anyone be inspired? Get get all ginned up for another round of lies? He’s no different than the people he complained about to get elected. Jokes on all of us.

Stick around. The lengths to which Hussein will go to get blacks to the polls will be BREATHTAKING. And look for the media to back whatever his play happens to be….as usual.

      It’s already started.

New York voting meltdown during the primaries.
Military Ballots not counting in Virginia.
Mooch-elle campaigning in the polling place.

It’s just begun. But none of it’s going to be enough to block the tidal wave. They’re just trying to influence what they think are the nailbiters. But the polls aren’t real anymore either.

Ace had a chart yesterday that showed all the races the experts are saying are in play.

I applied some simple percentages to the categories and got a swing of 84 House seats.

100 seats are in play. Maybe more.

It’s just a SMALL first step.

I wish we had Constitutional options to execute some of these people. Their crimes are unprecedented in American history. Economically, their crimes are the worst in human history, and I don’t doubt for a second that they would be gleefully eliminate us in Maoist fashion if they thought they could get away with it.
