Well thought out.

In addition, Fitzgerald is a mad-dog Democrat partisan. Otherwise he would never have wasted the taxpayer’s money amd 2 1/2 years entrapping Libby for not remembering obscure details about a non-crime.

I’ve thought from the begining that Blago would walk.

I also doubt he will be impeached.

He knows too much.

The more I think about it, the more I’m sure that Fitzgerald arrested Blago solely for the purpose of preventing him from actually selling the seat (possibly with Rahm Emmanuel being the highest bidder) and committing a more serious crime that would really embarrass the Democrats and Obama. This way Blagojevich knows that he’s being surveilled, he can make a clean appointment which can be momentarily (one entire day) questioned on account of the scandal. Then eventually (probably a year or more down the road) he can go to trial on the charge of conspiracy to be corrupt, the whole thing will get laughed out of court, and the Democrats can peacefully go about their business of entrenching communism into the law of the land.
My goodness, what other time than murder does a prosecutor who’s got a wiretap on a suspect who’s conspiring to commit the crime, here essentially a financial/corruption crime, step in to arrest before the crime is committed? I’m sure the sentences are always longer for the actual offense, rather than conspiracy to commit the offense. Isn’t that what a prosecutor wants?

After a 45-minute meeting this morning between Burris, Reid and his lieutenant, Sen.Dick Durbin, Reid said Senate Democrats would wait to see if the Illinois Supreme Court would order Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White to sign Burris’ appointment by Gov. Rod Blagojevich.”

The AP initially reported Burris would be seated but have since backed off to this.

But my goodness, he’s an African American. He cannot be denied his heritage.

Bobby Rush, (racist ILL) has come out saying that the rejection of Burris was a “racist act”. The Black Caucus, which is responsible for keeping racism alive in America, also condemned the Burris turn away… news conference to follow. Yep, Burris’s appointment by Blago, and the fact that his paperwork was not signed off on was done ONLY because he was black….not because he was qualified at all.
