Who says you can't buy votes in America? That's what politics is all about: everyone contributes to the piggy bank, then pop out the bottom and give it back to the people you like. This is why socialism just doesn't work! The Republicans are just mad because they didn't get a chance to funnel the money to keep themselves in power. The two oligarchical parties are different alright. One side is heads, the other is tails, but of the same coin..... When the Democrats are in power, they pay back the voters who got them there. Who says you can’t buy votes in America?

We MUST save those Oh-So-Valuable union employees so they can continue to tax, fine, cite, and otherwise make life miserable for the masses of laid off workers that will have much higher taxes and crappy, Govt. healthcare by the time they get back to work. No reason for these pillars of the community to suffer along with the rest of us through the mess their political masters created. Oh yes!
