Yippee! Biden Will Save The Middle Class

From an apparently humor-deprived Associated Press:

Biden to oversee efforts aimed at middle class

By KEVIN FREKING, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON – As vice president, Joe Biden will oversee an Obama administration effort to find ways of building up the ranks of the middle class, that ambiguously defined segment of society most Americans identify with.

The task force will include four Cabinet members as well as other presidential advisers, the Obama transition team announced Sunday.

The goal is to recommend proposals to ensure the middle class is "no longer being left behind," Biden said. The proposals could include executive orders and legislative plans.

"Our charge is to look at existing and future policies across the board and use a yard stick to measure how they are impacting the working and middle-class families," Biden said in a statement released Sunday. "Is the number of these families growing? Are they prospering? President-elect Obama and I know the economic health of working families has eroded, and we intend to turn that around." …

The transition team promised the task force’s work would be transparent, with annual reports on its findings and recommendations. Also, any submissions from outside groups are to be posted on the Internet. By comparison, Cheney, a former oil man, fought to keep the White House energy task force’s deliberations secret.

Task force members will include the secretaries of labor, health and human services, education, and commerce, as well as the directors of the National Economic Council, the Office of Management and Budget, the Domestic Policy Council and the head of the Council of Economic Advisers…

At first, putting the insanely incompetent Mr. Biden in charge of protecting the middle class had us puzzled.

But then we remembered that for twenty years Mr. Obama was taught to hate the middle class at his pastor’s knee.

And everything became clear.

Lest we forget, here are some excerpts from the "Black Value System" via the Trinity Church’s website which have since been expunged from their literature – though not from their hearts:

Statement of Purpose

We honor Dr. Manford Byrd, our brother in Christ, because of the exemplary manner in which he has thrice withstood the ravage of being denied his earned ascension to the number one position in the Chicago School System

The Black Value System

These Black Ethics must be taught and exampled in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect the following concepts:

Commitment of God

“The God of our weary years” will give us the strength to give up prayerful passivism and become Black Christian Activist, soldiers for Black freedom and the dignity of all humankind…

Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect

To accomplish anything worthwhile requires self-discipline. We must be a community of self-disciplined persons, if we are to actualize and utilize our own human resources instead of perpetually submitting to exploitation by others. Self discipline coupled with a respect for self, will enable each of us to be an instrument of Black Progress, and a model for Black Youth.

Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”

Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must keep the captive ignorant educationally, but trained sufficiently well to serve the system. Also, the captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.

Those so identified as separated from the rest of the people by:

Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.

Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.

Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us”

These are tenants from the very pamphlet that convinced Mr. Obama to join the Reverend Doctor Wright’s congregation.

It’ll take Biden & Co. most of the 1st term to simply DEFINE the middle class. How do you do that? Is it by income? $30,000 in West Virginia is a lot more than $30,000 in Houston. So is it by education? Nope. Cant do that either. So we’ll be left with Mr. Biden defining “middle class” (my guess) as simply “union households and/or minority households.” Add to that the fact that there is no way they are going to issue their findings with a deliberate avoidance of the “lower class”, so, as a result, his report will basically be a worthless diatribe on how everyone not a millionaire can be bought off with additional government spending.

Does he get a clown uniform to wear with that?

HA….thats a laugh!!! How can they build the ranks of the middies when they are too busy tearing it down? Class warfare is the Battle Cry of the Liberals. That smirk on the face of Mr. Footinmouth doesn’t fool me for 1 nanosecond. Remember….Divide and Conquer the classes and feed them hate of one another, that has ALWAYS been their credo. Nothing more!!

There is one thing you can be absolutely sure of.

Whatever tasks Biden is given to keep him busy and out of Obamy’s hair are tasks that are at the rock bottom of Obamy’s priority list.

Forget “Plugs” Biden. He’s a complete idiot. The excerpts from the churches literature are total crap. It seems to me that these so called “civil rights leaders” are nothing more than “slave masters”. They pit one race against another, one class against another and even their own people against each other to maintain the status in the community. When will they be exposed for what they are? Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpton and Louis FerraCON are no different that the grand dragon of the KKK. Hate is hate.

Gees that sounds like what a “community organizer” does.

Defining the middle class is fairly simple. They simply look at the voter registration records and if you are a registered democrat you are either middle class or poor (and in need of generous public assistance at the expense of the wealthy). Everybody knows that Republican or Conservative are synonyms for wealthy. If you are registered as a Republican by definition you are wealthy (these are the people that need to be taxed out of existence to support the democrats—er I mean the middle class and the poor). Of course, most of the Wall Street CEO’s, the movie stars, the recording artists, the titans of the tech industry, politicians, and the people who inherited vast amounts of wealth but who don’t have jobs that are taxed as earned income are middle class by this definition. What could be simpler and more just?

    • proreason says:

“and the people who inherited vast amounts of wealth but who don’t have jobs that are taxed as earned income”

      That’s the key.

Obamy’s soak the rich tax plans don’t soak those with inherited wealth, or those with enough money that they no longer need earned income. Kerry, Kennedy, Pelosi, Obamy, Reid…..they all will pay another 3% on their dividends. That’s it. Hardly a back breaking burden. Whereas the rest of current taxpayers will see tax rates skyrocket.

      Nobody realizes this.

Obamy is attempting to create a two-class system. His supporters remain wealthy beyond imagination. The rest of us will get paid the same after taxes regardless of whether you are a world class scientific genius or a janitor. Just like those other countries oh what are there names….da da da…..de dum de dum….. oh yes, Commmunist Russia, Communist China (until the last few years), Cuba, and numerous other failed socialist republics. You know, those countries that he has been admiring for the last 20 years in his dorm room.

No doubt he will grow the “middle class.” But it will be because people will be brought down from the upper and not up from the lower. If people weren’t poor, nobody would ever vote democrat. Of course there have been poor people for as long as there have been democrats proclaiming to end poverty. Maybe they’ll figure it out eventually.

‘Of course there have been poor people for as long as there have been democrats proclaiming to end poverty. Maybe they’ll figure it out eventually.’

I doubt it. The war on poverty is an ongoing thing and it will never end. Jesus himself said to his disciples that you will always have the poor. But since most liberals don’t acknowledge the timeless wisdom of the word of God they’ll never grasp this fact. And they’ll keep tossing money away, yours and mine, to feed a hungry beast whose appetite knows no bounds. And all this so they can self-righteously say to the downtrodden, ‘See you need us because no one else is looking out for you.’

Since you’re looking at existing policies across the board, try outlawing divorce. It’s the single largest cause of downward mobility from the middle class to the poor house. The children it illegitimizes are also more likely to be unsuccessful economically, scholastically, and socially. I know the suggestion probably upsets some people, since it’s such a personal decision (and one of the few important areas of law that the states maintain any control over) but if a politician really cared about the middle class, he’d at least mention that this is really one of the biggest things dragging them down financially.
