The Palestinians should apply for TARP.

My understanding is that their plight is entirely related to Bush’s mis-administration.

The income gap between them and American entrepreneurs has been increasing for years. They need a bail-out.

I think there is a glimmer of hope in this border incident, especially if it escalates. As SG noted, nobody wants the Palestinians. The arrival of the Palestinians in Lebanon helped percipitate a civil war that ruined a beautiful country, and they tried to do worse in Jordan (Black September): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B....._in_Jordan
Radical Palestinian groups are not welcome there. If Egypt truly cuts off Hamas, the terrorists will be without a line of supply (outside the UN)

Funny, “residents” in my area do not carry landmines. Or is this just another example of the AP’s progression wherein “terrorists” became “guerillas” then “militants” now “residents”, and certainly tomorrow “disabled orphans”. I believe these arabs are fleeing because the IDF knows very well who they are.

The Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanians, and Saudis are perfectly happy with the palestinians as they are. As long as they have a ready supply of cannon fodder, they will actively work to make sure the palestinians’ lot does not improve.

When will these people finally be desperate enough to try peace with Israel? They’d rather try bum rushing the boarder of a militant Muslim police state than elect people to lead them to a contented existence within a functioning democracy. That is just sadly myopic.
