Embassies Bombing Al-Libi Suspect Taken To NYC

From the New York Times:

Qaeda Suspect Is Brought to New York for a Hearing

The terrorism suspect who had been undergoing interrogation on a Navy ship after his recent capture in Libya was brought to New York over the weekend and was to appear before a federal judge on Tuesday, officials said.

We said at the time of Al-Libi’s (aka al-Ruqai) capture that he would end up in NYC instead of Gitmo. Since it has always been Obama and Holder’s dream to try a top terrorist on the world stage of NYC.

The decision to bring the suspect, Nazih Abdul-Hamed al-Ruqai, to New York was made because his chronic health problems worsened after he stopped eating and drinking aboard the San Antonio, a Navy vessel in the Mediterranean, officials said.

Other reports claim Al-Libi has Hepatitis. But, in any case, there are lavish medical facilities in Gitmo, too. This is just an excuse to give him a show trial where he can air his grievances against the US.

Mr. Ruqai, 49, was formally arrested and taken into Justice Department custody after he left the San Antonio and before he arrived in the United States late Saturday, officials said. Upon his arrival, he was taken to a medical facility, they said, and his condition has improved.

In 2000, Mr. Ruqai was indicted in Manhattan on charges that he conspired with Osama bin Laden in plots to attack United States forces in Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Somalia, as well as in the 1998 bombings of two United States Embassies in East Africa that killed 224 people…

He is such a fiend they should make him sign up for Obama-Care. Now that would be torture.

    1. Who said so?
    2. How do we know there is a guy named Mr. Rugai?
    3. Has there been independent, secondary vetting of this, or any Obama Administration story?
    4. Article is bylined New York Times, a famously corrupt source of lies, deceit, falsehoods and Democrat state media
    5. I don’t believe a word of it.

every night, CBS World News has a 10 second Properganda segment (above the normal) that always starts off
      “Experts say…”
      “most people think…”
      no names .

It’s also one of barry’s favorite straw-man positions.

“Now…..you hear a lot of folks sayin’ ”

Of course, that’s when I can stomach his whisting “S” and quasi-staccato speech patterns.

Even when Rush plays them I almost run off the road reaching for the volume knob so fast.

But it’s a favorite false-argument ploy by the left.

Last night I couldn’t help, while flicking channels, that Gwen Earful had a big banner below her that said that the GOP is being blamed for the shutdown.

      Um….no…in reality…it’s not.

One has to laugh (deeply, inwardly) at the name Al-Libi.
