If the owners truly realized what this building has meant to so many Americans, they would be ashamed of themselves. This was always a beacon of American Exceptionalism. This light display and others are a disgrace to the American Dream. If the owners believed in Freedom and the American people that have admired their building, if they only knew the importance of this great architectural wonder, If they only had a clue, it would be lit red, white and blue every night in honor of those dreams and in honor of those that have stood up to tyrannts. I find this shameful. Communist China and those that suffer under its might will continue to suffer as long as Americans, like the owners of this building, continue to be so clueless.
