This country's population...those of us who arent succumbing to Obamamania that is...are fast reaching the tipping point...there is going to be a revolution. Not if anymore, just when.

There are those of us who are old enough to not have that much to lose, and we are going to be the ones who get our hands dirty for those who do, even though they will support us when the time comes.

Where there used to be viable solutions for all which is being thrust upon us by this administration who knows that the clock is ticking, and thus is trying to ramrod legislation through as fast as they can, there seems to be a point where there is but one simple solution to this mess.

Truthfully, I hope it doesnt come to that. But for the life of me, I am fast running out of "talking points" to stave off the inevitable...and will inevitably end up on the barricades with true patriots who will take us back from the brink.....by whatever means necessary.

Yeah, that's what I said. I dont think I am the only one either, and that is going to be the huge suprise to those who oppose the retrieval of our nation. I wish it hadnt come to this...I was getting comfortable in my second half of my life.

Oh well! There are some things that are worth the effort. This is one of them.

From Fox News:

EPA Issues Greenhouse Gas Warning Despite Concerns Over Leaked E-Mails

In the face of GOP opposition, the EPA on Monday declared greenhouse gases a danger to public health in a move that could pave the way for future regulation.

The administration also waved off concerns about the controversy surrounding leaked e-mails at a British climate research center, with the U.S. envoy to the international climate change conference in Copenhagen dismissing the flap as a "small blip."

EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said in a written statement that the finding, which declares carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases a threat to public health, marks the start of a U.S. campaign to tackle greenhouse gas emissions.

"These long-overdue findings cement 2009's place in history as the year when the United States Government began addressing the challenge of greenhouse-gas pollution and seizing the opportunity of clean-energy reform," she said.

The meticulously timed announcement comes on the opening day of the Denmark conference, and could boost the administration's argument that the United States is taking action to combat global warming -- though Congress has yet to pass climate legislation. …

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/12/07/republicans-slam-epa-decision-declare-public-health-danger/

Here's the comment regarding the emails - so many on the right were so smug, when in reality they will be ignored and swept under the carpet, period. There is no stopping the left's agenda:

He dismissed the controversy over the leaked e-mails.

"I think it will have virtually no effect at all," he said. "The science is incredibly robust. And as we look forward, I worry much, much more about not acting urgently than what will ultimately be a small blip on the history of this process."

How convienent. The air is coming out of the global warming hoax. The taxes and regulations being pushed through Washington to global warming can be applied to this new threat. Remember, never let a crisis go to waste. If we don't have a crisis, create one.

What makes you think the EPA, this administration or Congress care, or that in fact, this isn't their explicit plan?

After all, it doesn't affect them and hell, think of all the new jobs that will need to be created at EPA to handle this.

Obama's creating jobs, just as promised.

Who cares about the private sector - they don't deal with it on a day-to-day basis.

"Refuse to pay" carbon taxes, Rusty? What happens if you "refuse" to pay income taxes?

People will pay when a sufficient numbers of homes are seized and wages garnished.

Big, As you know, all they're looking for is money. They are the masters of taxes and where to find them and how to create them. Knowing that "the people" will "most likely" go along with such payments to "protect the environment" through either feel-good necessity or guilt, they will pay.

However, like those who removed smog pumps from their cars in CA because they didn't do anything except make cars ridiculously inefficient, I think the same will happen with businesses that just find the CO2 thing to be bunk.

Sure, go ahead...make it a law. Common sense will eventually have to win out. It makes the mind boggle for all the billions of dollars wasted for writing tickets when people were driving 70 in a 55, doesn't it? The patrolman would go on about how speed is dangerous...blah blah blah...and now those very same freeways are 75mph zones. Hmmm. So what changed?

The people got sick and tired of losing to the clock. Simple as that. At 55mph, it's not a mile a minute...and you feel like you are constantly losing the battle against time. There are other reasons, to be sure but for me, 55 mph felt ridiculously slow, especially having just come back from Germany.

Not to digress to far...but the logic is similar. People, once fed up, will circumvent a law that is overly restrictive. If they told me I had to pay another 10 bucks or 20 or 50 to register my truck next year for a "carbon tax" then I would probably consider how to fake a sticker for my plate and be done with it. Illegal? Yes. But as an American, I would fight it in court and be heard, knowing that I would lose anyway.

But it would be on the record.

Such as it is.

But if everyone in the county and state, or even if 10% or 20% or more were found to be doing it...then the state would have to say...."Uh...we're losing revenue on this....and people refuse to pay the carbon tax..and it's causing a lot of problems". It's doubtful that they will punish people for very long. Of course, that begs the question, "Who's gonna be first?".

I work for a major airline. CO2 is a by-product of our business. Jet fuel is our most expensive overhead cost and when it goes up drastically..we cannot charge more for tickets...it's the law, see. We can, however, pass the carbon tax onto the public...the net effect being a $230 ticket will be a $300 ticket. Less people will travel by air.

No doubt it's an economy crushing plan but it all fits in perfectly with the boy's willful destruction of our nation. Ironically, once all movement stops due to crushing taxes, what then? Soviet Union. Yay. Black market, don't trust anyone, no utilities that work, etc. He is such the fool.

It's not going to happen in 2010.

Look around you - far too many people agree with what the left is doing.

Check the population centers and you'll find many areas such as California, where people want to put challengers up against Boxer and Pelosi because they're not liberal enough.

It would be nice to think things will change, but I talk to far too many people who have an attitude of "I have mine," "I like Government freebies" and "anyone who makes more than me is rich and should be taxed at 90%."

I wonder if the EPA realizes they announced an Endangerment Finding on CO2 on "a day that will live in infamy"?

Having worked on permits for actual Clean Air Act pollutants, people have no idea what bureaucratic nighmare is about to descend upon them. I work for a large company, and we have to contract with outside companies on permits due to the complexity.

If the EPA regulates down to 250 tons of CO2, even many small businesses will be impacted. Very few people have any idea what actually constitutes a ton of CO2. We will witness a 13 trillion dollar economy brought to its knees if the EPA manages to complete this unconstitutional power grab.

"Translation: Wealth transfer from the US taxpayer to 3rd world dictators who will pocket the money like they always do."

100% correct RightWinger.

Similar things have been going on for centuries.

None of the money ever reaches the people.

Yet we continue the same nonsense, except now they want 1000 times as much.

Remind me of that definition of insanity again.

(But frankly, I have my own suspicion that quite a bit manages to find it's way back into the pockets of US politicians as well. Otherwise, they wouldn't do it.

(But frankly, I have my own suspicion that quite a bit manages to find it’s way back into the pockets of US politicians as well. Otherwise, they wouldn’t do it.

I'd like to go on record as saying that in these poor countries they still scratch a hole in the ground to defecate. Then wipe with their hands....to boot.
Can't we teach them hygiene habits and keep our money away from the Flim-Flam man?

The AP is really pouring it on today! A 3rd article out showing we are all on the verge of doom if we do not act today! Chicken little would be envious of such gloom and doom!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/climate

When you get down to around the 20th paragraph of that story, everything you need to know about the reality of "global warming" is explained in full detail.

"Among those decisions is a proposed fund of $10 billion each year for the next three years to help poor countries create climate change strategies. After that, hundreds of billions of dollars will be needed every year to set the world on a new energy path and adapt to new climates.

Translation: Wealth transfer from the US taxpayer to 3rd world dictators who will pocket the money like they always do. The EPA will be sure to do its part of the scheme, that is for sure.

It's going to take some more work to turn this country around.

There are too many stupid pills floating around for it to happen immediately after 2010.

Personally, I recommend a limited number of executions.

Congress and the administration would be a good place to start.

We can replace them with amoeba.
