EPA ‘Leaked’ Farmers’ Personal Data To Greenies

From the Daily Caller:

Senators slam EPA for leaking farmers’ personal data to environmentalists

By Michael Bastasch | June 6, 2013

A bipartisan group of senators is calling on the Environmental Protection Agency to answer for leaking the personal data of about 80,000 farmers and ranchers to left-wing environmental groups.

The news of these EPA ‘leaks’ first came out back in April. However, few people noticed. But now it’s clear it was just part of the pattern from the Obama administration.

“The EPA’s disclosure of personal information is not the first time sensitive data has been leaked to outside organizations under the Obama administration,” said South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune.

Really? Sen. Thune should tell us more about these past cases.

Thune joined a bipartisan group of senators in sending a letter to acting EPA administrator Bob Perciasepe, asking the agency to answer for its actions.

In April, the EPA admitted to leaking farmers and ranchers’ personal data to environmentalists, and has since redacted some of the sensitive records and asked environmental groups to return the released documents to the agency.

Hilarious. Yes, that will happen.

Senators slammed the agency, sending a letter in April criticizing the agency’s actions and questioning whether or not the EPA had violated the Privacy Act. However, Thune said the EPA has yet to respond to issues raised in the first letter he and other senators sent to the agency.

Why should they worry? They know they will never be held accountable for their actions.

“These leaks provide further evidence of the growing credibility gap between the Obama administration and the American public,” Thune added. “This troubling pattern of unauthorized release of government-obtained personal information is unacceptable political intimidation…"

That is the whole point.

The EPA leaked personal data — including names, personal addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses — as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request made by the groups Earth Justice, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Pew Charitable Trust…

Lest we forget, environmental extremists are the most prevalent domestic terrorists we have in this country. But we’re sure the famers have nothing to worry about.

Who ever believes that Obama and the left are not going to use their latest data grabs for political ends needs a swift kick in the rear. This administration seems to believe that people have a right to privacy if you belong to one of their affiliated leftist groups, otherwise your fair game to be spied on. If your a conservative then your information will somehow find its way into the files of every liberal group so they can harrass and try and intimidate them. Of course it will be the same dasterdly “low level staffers” who just happen to have acted on their own without any direction that leaked the files.

If the goverment thinks that the crazy enviromentalists haven’t already made multiple copies of those files and stored them elsewhere then they are dreaming. If the leftists destroy the original files given to them, one has to to know that they first blasted the info across the internet to other groups. If this was a republican president and congress, the dems would be screaming about impeachment and gestapo tactics. Now when its their people doing this chicago thug style then everything is alright and only to protect us. If you disagree then your a racist/homophobe/bigot/islamophobe/terrorist/extremist/ect.

    This is war.

What the LibTards don’t get is the worm always turns and when this tyrannical fever has run its course … their karmic payback is going to be annihilating.

This isn’t politics, which would be the sharing and arguing about ideas, taking a vote, and majority rules etc. This is soviet America, run by the democrats. What is different between the two systems? Nothing.

Using government to spy and harass their enemies.
Using secret police agencies to arrest citizens.
Ability to detain citizens indefinitely without trial.
    Secret courts.
    Killing citizens without trial.
Detaining combatants without trial and indefinite detention on foreign soil.
Creating a reward/punishment system for party members.
Reward party members for loyalty in harassing political opponents.
Spy on emails to reveal dirt on political enemies such as the mistress case against Gen Petraus.
    Audit and harass political enemies.
    Harass donors.
Give private information of enemies to activist groups to harass.
Judge-shop to acquire the outcomes you want.
    Harass opponents off the ballot.
Suppress the vote of your opposition.
Erode and cancel the rights of the citizens to speak or exercise any of their other rights.

Make no mistake about it, liberals HATE Conservatives, with such evil passion. There is NO QUESTION in my mind that they would lovingly round-up Conservatives to place in concentration camps, and even have them murdered.
When you saw all those lefties celebrating Margaret Thatcher’s death, and dancing on Reagan’s grave, you know their hearts are pure evil.

I don’t know when Republicans are going to realize they are so hated, and that agreeing with them is nothing more than a trap to make terrible legislation look popular by way of bipartisanship. The McCains, Romneys, Colin Powells of this world are fools! It’s an undeclared war, and you must treat it as such.

“and asked environmental groups to return the released documents to the agency.”

Rather like “Yes, we promise to take that information down off the Internet sometime next week.”
