I think he brought up that old canard about putting off things until the next time several times during the speech, and I kept thinking, how many times did all of this come up during Bush’s presidency? And the debate was there it was just so split that a lot of things didn’t happen. How can anyone really say with a straight face that we put anything off during the Bush years?

Oil – Partial lie. We use less on a % basis than ever, but we do import now more than ever

Health Care – A typical Moron rhetorical trick. Health Care costs more because we have MORE LIFE-SAVING TREATMENTS available. The alternative is to die….which is what the commiecrats will enforce for senior citizens.

Schools- yes, they are a mess, and whose fault is that. The Moron himself frittered 50M away.

Transfer wealth to the wealthy – A flagrant lie. Wealth strata’s are relatively the same today as ever. When the libwits tell this lie, btw, they don’t count any entitlements (welfare, SSN, Medicare, etc, etc, etc) which have soared since the Johnson years. There are many many sub-lies in this one as well

Regulations – A flagrant lie. There are more regulations now than ever. Besides, regulations are the PROBLEM, not the solution.

Lenders pushing bad loans – A laughable lie. Moron liberals forced the banks to make bad loans.

Debate put off for another day – A contemptable lie. Bush opened many debates.

Every word that comes out of The Moron’s mouth is a lie of some sort. Telling lies is his career.

Then he said these two sentences in the same speech.
“Because of this plan, 95 percent of working households in America will receive a tax cut, a tax cut that you will see in your paychecks beginning on April 1.”
“In fact — in fact, the recovery plan provides a tax cut — that’s right, a tax cut — for 95 percent of working families. And, by the way, these checks are on the way.”

So which is it? Are we getting less withheld from our regular paychecks, or are checks “on the way”, implying to me, in the mail?

Then he made the next two statements in the same speech:
“And though all of these challenges went unsolved, we still managed to spend more money and pile up more debt, both as individuals and through our government, than ever before.”
“And we will do so in several ways. First, we are creating a new lending fund that represents the largest effort ever to help provide auto loans, college loans, and small-business loans to the consumers and entrepreneurs who keep this economy running”

So which is it, is debt bad, or is debt good?

Factcheck.org should check that little paragraph and determine how much of that is actually true, and out of that, how much is in fact to blame on Democrats, rather than Obama’s obvious insinuation that it was Republicans’ fault.

I think I could have a full time job if I went around listening to what Obama actually says, and pointing out how much of it is bald faced lies, and how much of it is obfuscation. I seriously think that his grain of truth in a speech is maybe 5%.

1. they don’t believe it (i.e., i don’t make a lot of money… Obamy will take care of ME. Or, Obamy didn’t tell me, so it can’t be true.)
2. they don’t understand it (i.e., uuuh, i’m a moron. don’t confuse me with stuff like that)
3. they are drunk on Obamy love (i.e., i’m thinking with the banana in my pocket right now)

But you know, U NO (cool), if even ONE person listened, you have made the world a better place.

That is what I have been doing in conversations when someone says, “Well it isn’t a lot of money these days especially when there are so many people losing jobs, blah, blah, blah.” I just mention income tax is one trillion so if we don’t spend a trillion we saved YOUR income tax for a year. Some times it works, some times it doesn’t, like, “Well we have to help the poor and the economy. Obama is sooooooo smmaaarrrtttt!”

They sound more like defense attorneys than a supposedly neutral organization. But, that’s they way things are in our new Orwellian government.
