Fidel Castro Lauds Obama’s Nobel Prize

Mr. Castro’s latest ‘reflection’ published at state-controlled Granma is entitled "The Bell Tolls for the Dollar."

In it, Mr. Castro opines on about how the US dollar is losing its position and how America is still emitting too much carbon. But the last few paragraphs are devoted to his comrade in arms, Mr. Obama.

Here is our translation from the Spanish, with the help of Google’s machine translator:

The Bell Tolls for the Dollar

… On the morning of Friday the 9th, the world awoke to the news that the enigma "Obama the good," as he was called by the Bolivarian [sic] President Hugo Chávez at the United Nations, has received the Nobel Peace Prize.

While I don’t always agree with the positions of the [Nobel] committee, I must admit that at this moment in my view, this was a positive step.

It compensates for the setback Obama suffered in Copenhagen when Rio de Janeiro and not Chicago was named as the site of the Olympics in 2016, provoking angry attacks from right-wing opponents.

Most people think that Obama still has not earned the right to receive this distinction. We see the decision, rather than a prize to the President of the United States, as a criticism of the genocidal policies that have followed quite a few presidents of that country, which led the world to a crossroads where it is today, a call for peace and finding solutions that lead to the survival of the species.

And why shouldn’t Mr. Castro be pleased?

He and Mr. Obama are on the same team.

Anymore, but as always, anything Castro says is firmly rooted in nut-land.

His statements make no sense, nor have they ever.

  2. proreason says:

Obamy has certainly made America much popular around the world.

Just look at the list of countries singing his praises.

  3. Rusty Shackleford says:

I had a passing thought that I wonder if the boy will drop everything to attend Castro’s funeral when the time comes.

That will send a message, eh?

Obama hard at work. This is the reason he got Nobel Piece of the Pie!

    Kid Mao:

President BARACK OBAMA was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation two weeks ago in upstate New York.

He spoke for almost an hour on HIS future plans for increasing every Native American’s present standard of living, since he has now become the President.

He referred to his career as a Senator, how he had signed
‘YES’ for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval.

Although President Obama was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his ‘red sisters and brothers’.

At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented Obama with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name – “Walking Eagle”.

The proud President then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they came to select the new name they had given to the President.

They explained that “Walking Eagle” is the name given to a bird so full of sh_ _ it can no longer fly.

Didn’t he want the Soviet Union to destroy our country of over 200 million at the time, through nuclear war?

This letter just goes to show that the Nobel Prize has nothing to do with human rights anymore.

It is a curious thing that so many dictators, terrorists, and other destroyers of man prefer Democratic, socialistic and more liberal parties to run the U.S. government. Since Obama has taken office the ideological gap between Democrats and third world dictators has shrunk, big time. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I’m just surprised that most Americans aren’t getting a clue that they DO NOT want to side with the ideological mindset of Fidel and other low lives, or socialism – which destroys fairness and prosperity. There is no moderate Taliban but there are many people deluded by the charisma of the boy king.

    From Dick Morris:

“The Nobel Prize is really Obama’s payback for disciplining the unruly United States and taming it to be a member of the European family of nations. Europe wants to reverse the American Revolution and re-colonize us, and it sees in Obama a kindred spirit willing to do its bidding.

Does the United States let its entrepreneurs run wild, coming up with fanciful new ideas and making billions from them? Obama will regulate and subdue business just like they do in Europe. Do U.S. businesses compete by slashing prices, aggressively pursuing markets and jockeying for market share? Obama will make them behave themselves and stay in line, just like European companies do. Do Americans work hard and push aggressively to make as much money as they can? Obama will raise taxes, emphasize community values and narcotize their ambition by offering government largesse.

And does the United States still believe in a sloppy, contrarian democracy in which ordinary people can directly affect their government, states have powers and courts can reel in executive authority? Obama will use his rubber stamp majority in Congress to pass new laws regardless of public opinion and make us obey.

In foreign policy, is the United States still willing to stand up, alone if necessary, to protect human rights in Bosnia, in Iraq and in Afghanistan? Obama will curb this unruly independence and mold it within the fabric of appeasement that has dominated Europe for the past half a century.

All this heavy lifting, this conversion of America into a European state, deserves a reward. And what is a more fitting one to give Obama than the Nobel Peace Prize?”
