I lived in W. Germany during the height of the Baader-Meinhof terror, and actually lived less than a half mile away when police stormed a house that members of this organization were living in. It was a tense, scary time for the entire community, and something I'll never forget. To immortalize them and to try and make them sympathetic figures is unconscionable, but not, unfortunately uncommon. Remember Hollywood's portrayal of Bonnie & Clyde, and its attempt to make them folk heroes? The movie industry is as liberal as they come, for the most part, and is heavily into rewriting history.

I can't be the only one waiting for the "Weathermen" film that will be made and that will sweep the Oscars, especially with a friend in the White House.

This will make a great double feature, playing along with Oliver Stone's "W."

Too bad all these "artistes" weren't in WTC 1 on Sept 11, 2001 -- they need to get "up close and personal" with the objects of their affection.
