Permits and insurance? The Sons of Liberty didn’t need no stinkin’ permits and insurance when they did their thing in Boston Harbor…just some face paint, some turkey feathers and some hatchets. Lots and lots of hatchets.

MinnesotaRush in my state you don’t have to have a permit to assemble and protest at the state capitol. As far as else where you have to stand on near the road, which is considered public. Such as the sidewalks are considered public.
You can not block pathes from those entering or leaving the building you picket.

Oh boy .. I’m with a Tea Party chapter here in the very blue state of Minnesota that’s connecting with a group who already had a permit to demonstrate at the State Capitol on April 15th. I’ve yet to hear of any “flak”; but I’m gonna be sure to keep my ear closer to the ground on anything like this. Nothing .. and I mean nothing .. would surprise me coming from the overabundance of lefty libs we got up here.

I just want to point out in this instance congress made no law it was the local yokels. And that is how socialism has creeped into this country under the guise of permits and zoning laws and so many other seemingly harmless laws, Obama is only finishing what our mayors, city councilmen and state reps have been shoving down out throats for decades.

Sheehanjihad. Please go. Otherwise other commies will actually make a law that screws the right to assemble, free religion. Rosko, was wise to make her public, also put it in writing to the commie, and attend anyways. I hope the news got it wrong that it was cancelled, and that Rosko did not tell the news this. Other commies will do the same thing.
If the Hamas can dress up like terrorists and aggressively and loudly protest all across the country, then a tea-party is nothing.
Rosko needs to attend. She can always leave if the police ask her, or an arrest would bring alot of attention, and show America how our rights are being taken away. Only, that reverand dude get’s arrested, cause he usually won’t stay behind the line, at prison protests. He get’s arrested on purpose, and then crys about a day in jail, reading his bible.
America use it, or lose it. If this threat works, then it will spread faster than any tea party.

The Organizer needs to revisit the permit – I am reading (a poorly written and proof-read) article on the man who leads our local Tea Party Organization – he originally wrote in 250 for the original ‘attendance’ and went back numerous times to update it –

and if the local ‘government’ denies it – then I stand by my original statement – The backlash has begun.

And the Organizer needs to also take in the 1st Amendment -
