Fluke Demands A ‘Pro-Woman’ Litmus Test

From the Daily Caller:

Sandra Fluke: Politicians should be required to pass pro-woman litmus test to get elected

By Michelle Fields
March 21, 2012

Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke said on Tuesday that candidates running for office should have to pass a pro-woman litmus test in order to get elected.

Fluke, an advocate for the Obama administration’s plan to force health insurers to cover birth control, was on Capitol Hill for a forum on “Opportunities and Challenges for a New Generation of Women,” in celebration of Women’s History Month.

When is ‘Men’s History Month’? And how is she finding the time for all of these public appearances? Doesn’t she have finals?

“There should be a litmus test that they be pro-women so our votes have to include that requirement at least,” Fluke said. “And it should be a litmus test that applies to male candidates as well.”

Remember when people used to mock the claim that there was an abortion litmus test for politicians? Well, it is coming to fruition. But, naturally, from the other side. You will have to be for ‘free’ taxpayer provided abortions for all to hold office.

By the way, how is this any different from having a religious test to hold public office? Being a student of the law, you would think she would be aware of that being unconstitutional. (Just kidding.)

She also spoke about the possibility of running for office in the future:

“Numerous American women have actually written to me in the last few weeks saying that I should run for office, and maybe someday I will.”

Now that is a shock. We certainly never saw that coming.

Still, there is no denying she has all the qualifications you need to run for office as a Democrat. She wants taxpayers to give her and her pals ‘free stuff.’

And make them wear a scarlet letter if they fail, too.

“When is ‘Men’s History Month’?”…never! Because all men are oppressors and potential rapists and there’s a whole bunch of other stuff wrong with us too, like the ‘war on women’ we’re currently waging, apparently. Geez, sometimes I wish I was still a liberal, when the world was neatly divided into ‘oppressors’ and ‘victims’. Everything was so much easier that way…

So I guess we’ll set about coining a new verb when the dust all settles.

If a candidate for the judiciary can be ‘Borked’, is it not possible to tell someone who prostitutes him/herself in order to gain fame and thus run for public office to go ‘Fluke’ themselves?

    Just askin’?

  4. Petronius says:

We used to have a litmus test for office-holders.

It was the oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

And we all know how well that turned out.

“If you think Obama screwed America, you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet! Fluke 2020!!”

Ummm…we have a litmus test…it’s called the ballot box.

Who is sponsoring this air head? How does she pay for these trips…clothing…food, you know…stuff!

    • TerryAnne says:

Her rich boyfriend most likely. There was a little press a few weeks ago about how she was flying out to see him in California…yet she can’t afford $20/month to spare us the horror of her offspring.

  8. potus4 says:

I will the contribute the maximum amount allowed to whomever runs against this woman. Oops-I guess I just fired another shot in the “War on Women”. My bad. What the hell is happening to this country?

  9. Anonymoose says:

Oy, she’s going for that 15 minutes of fame.

Also gets me the “litmus test” is to assure candidates agree only with her views, kind of like all the “Get Out The Vote” people who are happy as long as you vote Democrat.

Fluke “Numerous American women have “actually” written to me in the last few weeks saying that I should run for office, and maybe someday I will.”

A slip that Fluke is stunned that a number of nuts out there “actually” wrote her to run for office. run Fido run.

  11. amber says:

A congressperson is not supposed to be pro anything, but the constitution.
However, I will gladly comply with her request, it would get rid of all the wankers in office who treat women with disrespect. There would be no democrats left in washington, women included. But, she must comply with my request, I want everyone running for office to have zero credit card debts and a credit score over 700.

    • The Redneck says:

You’re operating under the assumption that when Fluke says “pro-woman,” she actually means… well, pro-woman. I’m afraid that’s just not the case.

~If the U.S. doesn’t follow religious or Constitutional principles, then what guides it? If you throw away the blue prints, how can you continue to build properly?

ANSWER: You can’t. Unless the military intercedes to force compliance with the Constitution, and/or punish-fine-fire-imprison those who neglect the Constitution, the U.S. will be blown directionless until it finally capsizes.

  13. Enthalpy says:

There should be litmus tests all around: one for treason, one for sedition, one for allegiance, and others so we could decide between our tribe and their tribe.

  14. Astravogel says:

Dear Mith “…a well-regulated militia…” This is often misunderstood. In the time of the Founders, the term meant well equipped. It was the DUTY of the militia to obtain weapons suitable for the common defense. It comes down to us as in “Regular Army” or one that is the best equipped, not that they have good bowel movements. The militia, not to be confused with the National Guard, shall not have their right to good equipment infringed by the later day governments imposing restrictions upon them, except in narrowly defined areas. The Second Amendment (which is a part of the United States Constitution, as are all ratified amendments) is and hopefully will always be, the foundation of liberty and freedom for al citizens of the United States of America, which is the last best hope of mankind.

  15. wirenut says:

If only we could keep them to their oath of office, and not at the cost of our individual freedoms. Haw! What was I thinking? Nevermind.
