This always bugs the crap out of me, this idea of going "home" to vote. I used to work with someone whose heritage is El Salvadoran (born in the U.S.) and she refers to El Salvador as "home." Funny thing is if she had been brought up in her "home" she'd not have attended universities here in the U.S. (using plenty of American-generated grants, scholarships and loans), and she wouldn't now have the $250K a year job (with $4K a month housing allowance!). And what are we doing to ensure those 40,000 MS-13 members who went “home” to vote don’t make it back into the U.S.?
