Frank: HR 3200 Will Lead To Single Payer

From a website called Single Player Action:

Single Payer Action confronts Congressman Barney Frank (D-Massachusetts) at the National Press Building, July 27, 2009.

It looks like Mr. Frank let the cat out of the bag.

(Thanks to BannedbytheTaliban for the heads up.)

Barney Frank lets slip the true intentions behind the public option:

Judging from the video, there is a group out there stumping for single payer. People really are getting dumber.

      “People really are getting dumber”

One half are always below average, errrr, the median.

Which means it is always an uphill battle for us.

There is a definate positive skewing of that distribution.

In this case positive is negative.

As in, “One Gottcha wipes out all Attaboys.”

…. I apologize, but … when free market competitive engineering can ORBIT YOUR OWN SATELLITE for $8,000 , it’s pretty GD clear that we can damn sure competitively engineer the cost of medicines, the cost of surgical instruments, the cost of medical equipment and the related costs of infrastructure, operations and facilities to a whole ‘nother realm of inexpensive.

Because if we can now orbit a satellite for half the cost of an entry level Toyota, we damn sure ought not to be paying Twenty One Thousand Dollars for a cheap treadmill with an EKG hooked up to it.

Single Payer is about getting us by the throat AND the short hairs so a Newt Gingrich can never ever unseat the Democrat Party from power ever ever ever again.

Mark my words … God is about to chastise America, and it will be awful.

There’s a video on HotAir this morning where The Moron states his intention to move to single payer.

It’s all about him and his power.

They want to control you, not just the economy, not just business, not just your freedom.

They want to control YOUR LIFE.

Just like the power kings wielded 300 year ago. That’s what they want.

  6. crosspatch says:

The major problem I have is that new workers entering the workforce will not have a private option. If you ALREADY have a plan, you might be able to keep it, but private insurers will not be allowed to write new policies. That means new workers coming into the workforce from school into their first jobs will not have a choice. They won’t be able to pick one of their employer’s private plans. They are forced into the government program.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

According to the bill as written, any change in employment status, cost of existing plan, etc will result in the individual being forced into the public system.

Rush is discussing this very topic as of 40 minutes past the hour.
