There was something disturbing about his weepy, Stuart Smalley monologue today about going to work for the working people of Minnesota. Can't stand how Democrats see everyone as infantile, helpless and sitting around waiting for an elected official to save the day and make all of the important decisions for them.

I'm sure that's what went down, the board of elections was the finder of fact and all that followed was verification that the board members signed the proper forms to certify their findings.

Did the Minnesota Supreme Court rule on the merit of the irregularity claims or on the process itself?

I could see them saying, "The process is x, y, followed by z. Those things happened, therefore, the outcome stands." It seems to me that appeal courts usually rule on narrow issues of whether or not the law was followed, not so much on the merits of the case. (Example: my understanding of Miranda is that they didn't examine whether Miranda was guilty of the crime or not, just whether the arrest process was proper.)

So, they might have validated that the recount process was followed without addressing the obvious criminalty of people conducting the recount.

I think what just happened was all those investigations were concluded, no wrongdoing was found, and appeals exhausted. Next time, though...

"They’ve gotten better through the years though."

If they had spent the time working on making America a better place instead of figuring out how to steal things from people who earned them, we wouldn't be on the brink of revolution.

What needs to happen now is investigation of the corruption in the northern part of the state where votes were created out of whole cloth as well as the votes that showed up in the trunk of a car.

Once we can prove irregularities we can invalidate the election. The hard part is going to get someone from the party political apparatus to turn. As long as they close ranks and no one tells the truth we're screwed.

So who have the dims got now in the senate, insuring their filibuster-proof majority? The pay-for-play appointee from Illinois, the turncoat from Pennsylvania, the stroke victim from South Dakota, the senile zombie from West Virginia, the criminal from too-many-to-name, and now the thief from Minnesota. ARRRGGGHHH!!!!

I say they institute sharia law immediately in Minnesota and cut off his hands.

Anyone remember the debacle in South Florida when Algore lost the election? This was what was going on...That election was NOT stolen by Bush. But try as they might...as stupid as they tried to make Florida look, they couldn't pull it off. They've gotten better through the years though.

We here in Florida couldn't believe the way the press and libs twisted the facts in this. We knew it was all lie, but I don't think Americans at that time were used to seeing something that flagrant at the national level. They just weren't ready to believe so much evil existed in the good old USA. Boy! Did we get fooled!

I think if they had gotten by with it then we would have seen what is happening now...a whole lot sooner. Bush's win messed up their plans...big time and put them back about 8 years in their plans.

Many of us are wiser now to their grand schemes but somehow they still found enough 'useful idiots" to pull it off this time.

I think that was when the last of my starry eyed naivete left me. This is an evil world we are living in today.

"Of course it doesn’t help that Mr. Franken is one of the least qualified and most hate-filled creatures to ever disgrace the floor of the Congress."

Amazing but true.....since it's a remarkable steep standard to reach.....Maxine Waters, Cooler Jefferson, Charlie Rangel, Barbara Boxer, Stretch Pelosi, Slow Joe, et al.

And of course, the ultimate in affirmative action hatred and incompetance.....The Moron.

I beg to differ with you Steve............the unfunny Franken was "GIVEN" the election, he did not "STEAL" it. But it can now be said that Americans are not bothered by election rigging and hooligan bargaining on the side!
Sad.......This is not the American "I" joined the Marines to defend.
