That bright yellow thingy in the sky (about 90 million miles away) that warms us up and around which we have an eliptical orbit and is nuclear and cyclical (spots, flares) in nature, is the only logical cause of the warming that actually stopped several years ago.

I’ll have to investigate the magnetic pole issue – not aware of that – does that mean my Boy Scout compass is no longer viable?

I am stil waiting for the recalculation of “Greenland’s oceanic water rise due to mass melting”, considering they have found close to 40% may be terra firma and not ice…

TIROS-1 – was launched and functioned for 78 days taking weather measurements and video with what we would call archaic technology. (http://www.wired.com/science/d.....ntech_0401) Today’s technology is much more accurate but I think its a stretch to say that we can combine it with old numbers and get accurate global climate results.

Why does everyone seem to believe that CO2 is causing global warming? It would seem to me that a much stronger (more logical) explanation would be the the magnetic poles are weakening. The British Empire has been monitoring the North from True North and has kept records sense the 14th century. Someone please tell me I’m wrong because I don’t think anyone can change/influence the magnetic poles…unless your God.

Of course, you dumb asses. When it’s cold north of the equator it’s frigid south of the equator, and vice versa!!

I don’t have a college degree, and even I know that. Make me “King-of-the-World instead of Obama and here’s what I’d do. Everybody would have to take a simple Basic-Knowledge test. I get to determine what the questions will be. (Not the answers–just the questions). If you fail, you are taken out and shot—with a shit-pistol! In that way any variation from “the norm” – cold, warm, rain, drought, wind – is America’s fault and is due to evil Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Remember a decade or so when the goal of environmentalists was hydrogen cars because they emitted “just CO2 and water?”

Now that would probably be judged more hazardous than what burning fossil fuels throws off…
