Gallup: 59% Conservatives Accept Romney

From Johnny On The Spot, Gallup:

Majority of Conservatives See Romney as "Acceptable"

Only Romney now seen as acceptable by majority of Republicans

By Frank Newport
January 10, 2012

PRINCETON, NJ — Mitt Romney is the now the only candidate that a majority of conservative and moderate/liberal Republicans nationwide see as an "acceptable" GOP nominee for president. Conservative Republicans are more likely to say Romney would be an acceptable nominee than either Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum…

Fewer than half of conservative Republicans see Rick Perry, Ron Paul, or Jon Huntsman as acceptable nominees…

What timing!

So Gallup has defined “independents” in the lower case class, and given their meaning as “moderate/leaning Republicans.

At least Romney is scrubbing the “Progressive” from his mouth. What word has replaced it?

I will vote for and support any Republican candidate who can beat Obama like a nine pound hammer on a ripe tomato

Being spoon-fed is one thing, having a baster rammed down my voting booth, is quite another. The lamestream media will not make our canidates be. Remember Mc-Maverick? I will vote for the electable, over a boy-king.
Now, let’s do the work! GBJ. let’s go sixteen pound, AKA, the sledge hammer. Haw!

Willard might be “acceptable” but he can’t beat Obama, anymore than he could beat Ted Kennedy. Campaigning is the only thing BO is good at and he’ll have a billion dollars and the watchdog media to help him along and Willard will have his own money, his moderate vision and our lukewarm support and he’ll lose. The only candidate who might win is Ron Paul and he’s not “acceptable”, apparently, given these Gallup figures and the way the media are all working so strenuously to avoid even mentioning his name…”We have those final figures now, Brett; its Romney in first place with 40%, um, followed by, er, Huntsman at third with 17% and Santorum and Gingrich in a near tie for fourth place…”

Where’s the guy who came second, watchdog media? The one who got 23% of the vote. What’s his name? Say his name, I dare you. I double dare you…

Your big government, McCain-like, status quo, namby-pamby-cross-the-aisle-&-compromise-with-the-democrats-candidate, HAS BEEN CHOSEN FOR YOU —-again. All Hail Romney!

*You didn’t REALLY think the multi-trillion $ system of:
    ~ponzi-scheme-operations like social security
    ~tax-stealing to pay off voters
    ~dependency-making healthcare programs
~kicking the can down the road by raising the debt ceiling
~politicians appointed for life, living like kings
~appointing donors and friends to administrative positions
~making rules that everyone else must follow
~playing puppeteer with everyone on the planet
~exacerbating problems like welfare and immigration, so gov’t can pretend to fix it some day
~manipulating people during elections to keep them unfocused, and unorganized on the system that is abusing them

……was all going to be derailed by a Conservative did you?

Your candidate is Romney. Accept big-government “A” candidate or big-government “B” candidate, those are your choices in 2012. The system will not accept any other alternative.

RIGGED!!!!! 310 million people, but only a 2 party system to represent ALL opinions???-what a fantastic illusion.

I could hold my nose and vote for Willard (its not like that’s never happened before), if I thought he could win, but I honestly don’t see all this “electability” and “acceptability” that we’re always being told he possesses. I see a weak campaigner and a gracious loser, so, if we must lose anyway, we may as well go down fighting and give them libtards as much hell as we can…
