Gallup: GOP Takes Historic 10-Point Lead

From a gobsmacked Gallup:

GOP Takes Unprecedented 10-Point Lead on Generic Ballot

Republicans also maintain wide gap in enthusiasm about voting

PRINCETON, NJ — Republicans lead by 51% to 41% among registered voters in Gallup weekly tracking of 2010 congressional voting preferences. The 10-percentage-point lead is the GOP’s largest so far this year and is its largest in Gallup’s history of tracking the midterm generic ballot for Congress.

These results are based on aggregated data from registered voters surveyed Aug. 23-29 as part of Gallup Daily tracking. This marks the fifth week in a row in which Republicans have held an advantage over Democrats — one that has ranged between 3 and 10 points.

The Republican leads of 6, 7, and 10 points this month are all higher than any previous midterm Republican advantage in Gallup’s history of tracking the generic ballot, which dates to 1942. Prior to this year, the highest such gap was five points, measured in June 2002 and July 1994. Elections in both of these years resulted in significant Republican gains in House seats

November really could make history. And it better.

It’s November or never.

CBS (liberal) has given us this “rare” opportunity to vote:

Jay Cost points out that this particular Gallup poll is extremely bouncy. It’s really obvious looking at the chart. Look at all the rapid swings week by week. A trend line would show a gap of between 1 and 5.

Bob Becker is right about this. August isn’t a good enough indication to count the chickens.

(but I’m still predicting a 100 seat swing because momentum is important and it is all against the marxists). Even some Dems are now privately admitting a 60 seat swing is possible.

Of course, we haven’t seen the October surprise yet. Are you ready for a nuclear confrontation with a foreign state? They won’t stop at anything.

A nuclear confrontation or another large scale terrorist, strike that, man made disaster event large enough to warrant Barry declaring martial law and suspending the constitution.

Next step, President for Life Oblah-blah.

That’s not funny. That’s not funny at all…. I was having a bite to eat when I read your post and not a word of lie – my stomach heaved. Damn.

You know, this whole presidency reads like a very bad 1960’s “villain vs. good guy” script for TV. And trust me, I’m a big fan of 1960’s TV.

It is highly likely that the boy who sits in the president’s chair is doing as much damage as possible to accomplish two things. One the total destruction of the US and its financial system (think about what Osama Bin Ladin was trying to accomplish by bringing down the WTC) And, install himself as supreme prefect and ruler of the islamic state of america.

I know, it sounds nutty but everything he does and his henchmen do unhinges yet another part of our system. Eventually, with everything flapping in the breeze, sooner or later things start to break off and the whole barn comes down. I really think that is his ultimate desire and goal.

However, on the plus side, he is reported to be more sullen and unhappy these days probably due to 1) having to go back to work, 2) the bad news about the economy. It’s not that it’s bad news that bothers him…it’s actually 3) that the people of the US had the NERVE, the unmitigated GAUL to have a rally on DC grounds that spoke so loudly against him, non-political though it pretty much was. The tanking economy has more people pretty agitated and he’s now coming to realize that 70% of America doesn’t really like his actions..and that means not liking HIM cannot be far behind.

This is cataclysmic for a narcissist. He will become both more petulant and impulsive and also more withdrawn. Those things that normal people would be drawn to will cause him to scurry to the darkness and hide. On the other hand, like tonight, he will make big boastful shows of his itty bitty man parts, characteristic of all great dictators of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

He also thinks he can fix anything with talk. And that’s a glaring problem.

The loose parts are beginning to fit together.

      1. Why the bowing and scraping to every dirtbag country in the world? Because we are his enemy, not them. There will be time to attack them later, when he has total control of the American military machine.

      2. Why the disdain for the 2010 elections? Because he has enough power already to complete the task in only two more years.

      3. Why the Muslim outreach? Because he is a cultural Muslim, because Islam is currently his ally, and because his cabal doesn’t fear them once the American military is firmly under control.

      4. Why bother with Afghanistan? Because it keeps the military sharp.

      5. Why bow to China when the relationship is symbiotic? Because they are the only power that can challenge. Islam was only a problem for pre-2008 America because America is squeamish about crushing other enemies. The Post-America Moron won’t be squeamish.

      6. Why stay in our faces with Spain, the golf, the haughtiness? See # 2. And because tyrants always enjoy pulling off their victim’s wings.

God bless us all AND the USA, Steve! More truthful words may never have been spoken!

    We CANNOT fail in November!!!
