Gibbs: Obama Admits He’s Made Mistakes

From a terribly impressed Associated Press:

Gibbs: Obama acknowledges he’s made mistakes

January 27, 2010

WASHINGTON – White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Wednesday President Barack Obama hopes to use his State of the Union message to "outline a hopeful track for our future."

Appearing on network morning news shows to preview Obama’s address, Gibbs said the president will talk about some of the factors that led to Republican Scott Brown’s upset victory over a Democrat in the special Senate election in Massachusetts.

"The president is going to explain why he thinks the American people are angry and frustrated," his spokesman said

He’s already explained it. It’s Bush’s fault.

Gibbs said "every president makes mistakes, including Barack Obama" and said Obama has "not been shy" about admitting that.

Too bad Mr. Gibbs did not cite any examples of Mr. Obama admitting a mistake. We don’t recall a single instance.

At the same time, his spokesman said that Obama will "outline the fact that we’ve lived through one of the most challenging years in our country’s history" and that Obama is "more hopeful about our future than ever."

That is to say, he will blame Bush and pretend he himself has saved the country from a depression. Which is the new big lie.

He confirmed that Obama will embrace new cuts and other breaks for small businesses, to spur hiring and ease the country’s double-digit unemployment rate. "Small businesses run our economy," Gibbs said. "Let’s help them hire more workers."

Help them hire more workers how?

By sucking up all of the capital available? By destroying the banks and the financial markets? By heaping more mandates on small businesses? By pushing for ‘cap and trade’?

"We need to stop pretending every day in Washington is election day," he added…

You first, Mr. Gibbs.

What are the odds that Obamy will have a mental breakdown?

There is probably a realistic chance of it.

Consider…the moron has never been told no, or even challenged in his life. He has been carried on a silk pillow while his political sappers have cleared the ground in front of him at every juncture. He is indeed the ultimate example of affirmative action in all of history.

Now, he has to know that the country despises him and everything he stands for. And it is only going to get worse, because he appears to be too stupid to change course himself.

One of two things is going to happen. Either some adults in his court, presuming that there are some, will take control back from young Caligula and set a course toward the middle, or he will retain his power among his sychophants and continue full-speed directly into the granite wall. In either case, his mind has to be in turmoil. He simply doesn’t have the synapses in place to cope with it.

    He’s gonna go bonkers.

Time to talk about the benefit of Scott Brown’s victory that nobody is talking about.

Have you noticed that “all of a sudden”, the Moron is on the receiving end of a ton of criticism, not just from the brave souls at S&L, but from people all over the political spectrum. Even Chris Matthews has been piling on. I guess he enjoys rough sex.

So, what I think that means is that Brown’s victory has made it “safe” for people who had been harboring secret contempt for the idiot, maybe for a long time, to speak out.

Because, if the sainted liberals from the state that nurtured the most sainted liberal prior to the Messiah himself, can say “oops”, then maybe even white people can dare to point out that an obvious American-hating communist maybe just might not really be the one we have been waiting for.

I for one am sick of hearing all of the people piling on The Chosen One.
I mean, how many more democrats are suddenly going to find religion and criticize the very things they stood shoulder to shoulder to support?
So many of TCO’s projects such as the stimulus bill, got approved on strictly party lines, yet now many democrats are acting as if they’d never heard of these things before.
Scott Brown’s win has many in Washington shaking but if nothing else, it’s exposing them for what they are, liars and cowards. When they thought TCO could guarantee their cushy jobs forever, they couldn’t praise him enough. Now they’re running from him at record speed!

    Great News!

The little boy king is stickin with what has made his medicine so successful in his reign so far !!!

It looks like he has somehow wrestled control away from any adults who stumbled into his entourage. Not even the dishwashers at his local arugula bar could be so stupid.

Oh sure, he’ll be able to bitch-slap the country for another 3 years, unless he crashes the jet in a joy-ride around the capitol.

But based on tonight’s unprecedented speech, the country will have a fighting chance to survive.

He didn’t mean half of what he said. I’ve never seen such an assemblage of liars concentrated in one spot. Biden did his imitation of a bobble-head, and Pelosi must have had someone poking her in the ass at every applause line for the way she sprang to her feet.

Such shallow, vapid people. And they are in charge!?

Obama just said every day should not be a campaign day, in his union speech. You first Obama.

Obama first started the blame Bush, then on two occasions made statements implying he is the best President in decades & decades.

And not one single time did he look in front of him. His eyes slivered at fast pace extreme left to right, right to left, non-stop.

Without the multi-tasking of 3rd tele-prompter he may have spoke more fluent, but viewers most aptly need to puke.

  9. canary says:

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Alito mouths ‘that isn’t true” as Alito, Sotomayor, and others look unhappy, stunned, at Obama’s false claim. This is an oops double post. sorry
