Good observation Canary. Notice how Gibbs and Obama start giggling and making light when a question makes them uncomfortable, the audience laughs along and they get to completely elude the question/subject. Note here that the press corp doesn’t laugh along. Gig’s up Gibbs! They’re on to you.

I spent 3 days at the National Convention, rehearsing Obama’s speech. Working on his walk (he had a bit of strut that needed to go) , working his mug to look up and give the appearance he was speaking to massive crowds, making his hand and finger, wave and point at precise moments. Habits are hard to break, the nose still too high in the air, and a manikin defect of scratching his nose. .
On top of that I had to be a vanquilitrist for another dummy! His wife Michelle.
Didn’t you reporters read the Wall Street Journal? I was Obama’s “enforcer”. I went 8 hours without eating or using the restroom, making the dummy seem like he was a real and smart.
Did you reporters ever stop to think, that I am a Master Venquilatrist now for more Dummy’s Obama has chosen who don’t pay taxes. Yet alone a President that gives more talks and interviews than any president in history. I created Obama. I’m unreplacable.
And you reporters should know I was on my high school debate team, so I know how to answer your easy questions, but I also know what to say, when I don’t want to answer a question. Hee hee. At least I didn’t go “duh..um.ah.”

Barry uses his catch phrases like, “Look, I’ve got better things to do than run GM and Chrysler, but it has to be done”, while looking at us with the same countenance Gibbs tries on Reid and Thomas. Very superior, you know. Condescension is their main emotion.

When the “in the tank” press can tell they are being hoodwinked…and find the gonads to complain about it there is a glimmer of hope.

“poor” Gibbs kept trying to defer them till “later”…so maybe he can get his “talking” orders on how to answer the unanswerable. Well, it IS answerable…but not with an answer Gibbs wanted to admit to.

It’s clear he not only doesn’t understand that somebody could object to an infomercials billed as an open Townhall, he thinks challenging the idea is absurd. It’s beyond politics. The man is simply butt stupid. He is probably mentally retarded.

But aside from that, it’s wonderful that the arrogant to the fifth power WH is now even contemptuous of the media and their silly questions. It means there is a chance, when unemployment crosses 20% officially and 50% of the press have lost their jobs, that the hollow cheekers may stir themselves from their usual supine positition to actually suggest that something strange is going on in the country.

Now if we could get the Reid’s and Thomases in the press corps to use that same inquisition on more substantive issues such as federal spending, government takeover of industry, and cap and trade, we US citizens would be better served.
