Hezbollah: Lebanese Govt Has Declared War
From their long time allies at Reuters:
Hezbollah says Lebanese govt declares war
By Nadim Ladki
BEIRUT (Reuters) - The Iranian-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah said on Thursday the U.S.-supported Beirut government had declared war by targeting its communications network, pushing the country closer to civil war.
Hezbollah launched a new street campaign on Wednesday, piling pressure on the government after it declared the network illegal and removed the head of airport security, a figure close to the group, from his post.
Supporters of Hezbollah and its allies have blocked roads leading to the airport — Lebanon’s only air link to the outside world — and other main streets, paralyzing much of the capital.
Sporadic gun battles erupted between Hezbollah supporters and pro-government loyalists in Beirut, wounding three people, and in the Bekaa Valley in the east of the country, where five were wounded, security sources said.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the group’s leader, said the only way out of the crisis was for the government to rescind the decisions and to attend talks aiming to end a 17-month-long political conflict with the Hezbollah-led opposition.
“This decision is first of all a declaration of war and the launching of war by the government… against the resistance and its weapons for the benefit of America and Israel,” Nasrallah told a news conference in reference to the government’s move.
He described the fixed-line network that connects the group’s officials, military commanders and positions as a vital part of the military structure of the group, which fought a 34-day war with Israel in 2006.
“The communications network is the significant part of the weapons of the resistance,” Nasrallah said via video link from an unknown location in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
“I had said that we will cut the hand that targets the weapons of the resistance… Today is the day to fulfill this decision.”
Shortly after he finished, heavy clashes with assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades erupted between Hezbollah supporters and pro-government gunmen in Beirut’s volatile Mazraa and Ras el-Nabae districts, and later spread to other areas…
Lebanon will never have full control of their own country until they remove these murderers from their midst.
And Mr. Nasrallah has gone to meet his virgins.

“Lebanon will never have full control of their own country until they remove these murderers from their midst.”
The same can be said of any country with large a Muslim populations vying for dominance (Israel, India, etc).
But in regard to Lebanon, the only answer seems a brutal war of extermination. The Lebanese Christians have 3 options, leave the country, fight, or die.

And India’s history should be edifying for the rest of us.

My best friend’s grandfather, aunts and uncles came to this country from Lebanon after WWII. They were Christians and fleeing persecution. The grandfather was proud of the fact that he only used one match a day to light his cigarettes. He chained smoked Camel non-filters until he died, in 1978, at 104 years in his sleep of natural causes. He was a great man and he told us stories that would make your head spin about how muslims mistreated people. He was proud of his heratige, but truly loved this country. He told us that the situation in Lebanon would someday lead to WWIII. Looks like he was right.

Hezbollah blaming the Beirut government for the latest strife in Lebanon is like Jefferson Davis blaming
Abraham Lincoln for Fort Sumter.
