Hillary Gives ‘Gay Partners’ Full Benefits

From an elated Associated Press:

Clinton to Announce Gay U.S. Diplomats Will Receive Equal Benefits

Saturday, May 23, 2009

WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will soon announce that gay American diplomats will be given benefits similar to those that their heterosexual counterparts enjoy, U.S. officials said Saturday.

In a notice to be sent soon to State Department employees, Clinton says regulations that denied same-sex couples and their families the same rights and privileges that straight diplomats enjoyed are "unfair and must end," as they harm U.S. diplomacy

"It will also help the department attract and retain personnel in a competitive environment where domestic partner benefits and allowances are increasingly the norm for world-class employers," she says

Among the benefits that will now be granted gay diplomats: the right of domestic partners to hold diplomatic passports, government-paid travel for their partners and families to and from foreign posts, and the use of U.S. medical facilities abroad.

In addition, gay diplomats’ families will now be eligible for U.S. government emergency evacuations and training courses at the Foreign Service Institute, the message says.

The announcement, expected this week, was provided to the AP by a State Department official who is a member of the Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies organization. Two department officials not affiliated with the organization confirmed its accuracy.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the changes.

Previously, the State Department had withheld some benefits from the families of gay diplomats, citing the Defense of Marriage Law, which had restricted federal recognition of same-sex marriages.

One former ambassador, Michael Guest, resigned from the foreign service in 2007 to protest the restrictions. Guest was a part of the Obama administration’s State Department transition team and played a major role in lobbying for the changes.

Clinton told members of Congress last week that she would soon announce the revisions.

Isn’t this a brave new world?

Not only can our President change the law and give away taxpayer money with the wave of his hand, even the least of his minions now have the same power.

Of course this is the least Mrs. Clinton can do for homosexuals. If it wasn’t for her homosexual roommate, no one would have ever heard of Mrs. Clinton.

(It was the roommate who made Wellesley let Hillary give a commencement speech and who alerted Life magazine.)

But whatever happened to the rule of law?

Previously, the State Department had withheld some benefits from the families of gay diplomats, citing the Defense of Marriage Law, which had restricted federal recognition of same-sex marriages.

Oh, and never mind that the Defense Of Marriage Act was signed into law by her very own husband, President Bill Clinton.

The announcement, expected this week, was provided to the AP by a State Department official who is a member of the Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies organization.

Lest we forget, it wasn’t all that long ago that homosexuals were regularly refused security clearances.

By the way, is this part of Hillary’s plan to improve America’s image in the Muslim world?

Gee whiz, this gets more ridiculous everyday.

My sister, who worked in Washington Civil Service for several years and had friends who knew the Hildabeast, swears she is a lesbian.

But what I find more interesting about this article is that there are openly gay diplomats in the State Department. Isn’t that a security risk?

And from what I understand to be the typical world-view of State Department employees, I wonder if queers might have essentially taken over the department and thereby subverted US interests and put all of our lives at greater risk than should be.

Hillary’s roommate in college has gone on to quite the career in the LBGT world:

Ms. Acheson is a lawyer who was a liaison to the gay community for presidential candidate John Kerry. Before that she served in the Justice Department as the Assistant Attorney General for Policy Development under Janet Reno during the Clinton administration.

She is the founding Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Ms. Acheson also finds the time to head the Lesbian Gay Bi-Sexual Transgendered Americans For Hillary Steering Committee.

Steve, good point. Hillary and Obama have further endangered our soldiers, especially the females.

Talk about “sucking up” to the ever popular 1% vote. Frau Hilda has always carried the nut sack in the Clinton family. She is twice the man Bill could think of being. I am a little surprised that there is a “steering” committe made up by the LGB-STA for Hillary. I wonder how much special interest money the gubbamint provides these perverts?
If there were any questions before as to what sexual preference Hildabeast is …………. let this put your mind at ease.

These folks obviously have far too much time on their hands ..

Strange. I thought that the provision of benefits was within the purview of OPM, which is prescribed by law regarding the benefits it can provide. To my knowledge, there is no federal legislation extending the definition of family members for the purposes of benefits to non married couples, which would be a violation of the appropriations laws. I note that Princess Hillary (she would have been Queen but for Michelle) did not speak about extending medical and survivor benefits – I guess she thinks Barry Soetoro will take care of that in due course – but the use of appropriated funds for travel and training would seem to be a violation of a lesser degree. Anyone interested can go to the GAO website (www.gao.gov/) and request that they look into this unilateral display of administrative power – I will.

Isn’t Hillary breaking the law by offering these benefits? I had not heard that the “Defense of Marriage Law: was repealed by BHO.

If Hillary is breaking the law by offering these benefits, can’t something be done to stop her from breaking the law?

Pro – I have heard those same rumors about Ms. Clinton from a friend whose gay. She said that while running for Senate, one of her former partners “hooked up” with her every time she came to visit Rochester. Guess that explain why she does not care about Bill’s philandering ways.

Gee, is our military next on the chopping block? If anyone is interested, read a really good science fiction book called “The Forever Wars”. Good book which addresses a lot of what we see now.
