Hillary HQ Hostage-Taker Is On The Lam

From a context-free Associated Press:

Police: NH man who took over Clinton office flees

February 9, 2010

CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire authorities say the man who took hostages at a Hillary Rodham Clinton presidential campaign office in 2007 has cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet and is a fugitive who is a danger to the public.

Strafford County Attorney Thomas Velardi says Leeland Eisenberg cut off the bracelet Tuesday morning. Verlardi says that was a day after Eisenberg was given a "last chance" at freedom by a judge who released him despite probation violations.

Velardi says Eisenberg should not be approached.

Eisenberg spent about two years behind bars for the November 2007 siege at Clinton’s campaign office in Rochester. He was released on probation last November. His first violation occurred soon after his release, when he failed to charge his monitoring bracelet.

Would it be cynical to question the timing of this?

For, not only is this the incident memorable for making the Associated Press swoon over the “calm” and “regal-looking” Mrs. Clinton.

As we noted at the time, we also eventually learned that the hostage-taker wanted ‘healthcare reform.’

From the Clinton News Network, CNN:

Hostage taker complained of lack of access to mental health care

December 1, 2007

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) — When the call came in to the assignment desk at CNN’s Washington bureau, the news about a possible hostage situation at a Hillary Clinton campaign office in New Hampshire was just beginning to spread.

It was just after 1:30 p.m. On the line was a woman, clearly very upset. She said she was at the Rochester, New Hampshire, campaign office of the former first lady, and a man there was demanding to speak with CNN.

Asked what was going on, the woman, who identified herself as “Morgan,” repeated that the man there wanted to speak with CNN.

And then he did. “I need help,” he said, agitation obvious in his voice. “I tried to get help,” he said.

He said he’d been to a local psychiatric hospital but was told he’d have to pay “thousands of dollars” — money he said he didn’t have

Eisenberg said he was a mental health patient who had been trying to get help. He’d been unsuccessful, he said, because he didn’t have the “thousands of dollars” he was told he’d need.

He tried several mental health facilities, he said, “even called the Department of Health and Human Services.” But no one could help him, he said.

Eisenberg was well-spoken, articulate and impassioned about his cause. But as the call continued, he became more agitated.

“I need to speak to Hillary Clinton,” he said. “Something’s got to change. Ordinary people need help” with their insurance.

Later, he asked, “Can you get me Hillary Clinton?” And finally, he said again he wanted to speak with Clinton

He was angry about being turned away from a mental health facility because he didn’t have the money. He’d been dealing with this “crap” for a long time.

“I called the governor to try to get help,” he said, but no help came…

Maybe Mr. Eisenberg is on his way down to Washington, DC to help with the bipartisan healthcare negotiations.

Certainly his ideas on the subject can’t be any more “intellectually disabled” than those of Mr. Reid or Ms. Pelosi.

According to Fox News, Mr. Eisenberg has been re-apprehended at his own apartment.

So .. ” Mr. Eisenberg has been re-apprehended at his own apartment.”

Does he have anything sewn into his panties?

  2. Right of the People says:

“Asked what was going on, the woman, who identified herself as “Morgan,” repeated that the man there wanted to speak with CNN. ”

This proves that he’s mentally unstable. If he really wanted to get his message out he would have demanded to speak to Fox News.

He tried to keep his cell & care, they made him leave. He’s been trying to go back, they won’t let him. Maybe he has no electricity, all the more.
