Hillary Starts Two (More) Attack Websites

From ABC News:

Clinton Launches Obama Attack Web Sites

Clinton Campaign Registered Names of Two Web Sites to Attack Ill. Senator

By JAKE TAPPER

DES MOINES, Iowa, Dec. 20, 2007 — ABC News has learned that the campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., has registered the names of two Web sites with the express goal of attacking her chief rival, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.

It’s the first time this election cycle a presidential campaign has launched a Web site with the express purpose of of launching serious criticisms on a rival.

Votingpresent.com and Votingpresent.org are domains hosted by the same IP address as official Clinton Web sites, such TheHillaryIKnow.com, which was launched with much fanfare this week.

The Clinton campaign intends to use these new Web sites to paint Obama as cowardly.

Clinton has attacked Obama for having occasionally voted “present” as an Illinois state legislator when it came to contentious legislation…

The Obama campaign referred to the websites as “politically motivated attacks in the eleventh hour of a closely contested campaign” and defended Obama’s “present” votes…

Clinton has used these present votes to paint Obama as full of words but not action.

“I don’t think people want a lot of talk about change,” she told Iowans early this month. “I think they want someone with a real record — a doer, not a talker. After eight years of incompetence, they don’t want false hope, they want real results.”

The Clinton campaign disputed the notion that its pending attack websites will be the first, noting that after it was revealed that Clinton had taken questions from supporters at events, Sen. John Edwards, D-NC, in November launched the short-lived website PlantsForHillary.com, purporting to be from various forms of flora supporting the New York senator, though that website was taken down after a day.

A Clinton campaign official argued that Obama’s campaign has a website called HillaryAttacks.BarackObama.com, which catalogues criticisms Clinton has made about the Illinois senator. (Not to be confused with the anti-Clinton site HillaryAttacks.com, which is not affiliated with the Obama campaign.)

Clinton’s campaign has also introduced, quietly, a Web site called Attacktimeline.com, which Clinton officials say chronicles the ways Obama and Edwards were criticizing her publicly long before she began returning fire.

Apparently ABC News is unaware of the Hillary’s “war room” site, Hillary Is 44.

Who knows how many sites she has now? For her money is no object. And propaganda is everything.

“I don’t think people want a lot of talk about change,” she told Iowans early this month. “I think they want someone with a real record — a doer, not a talker.”

Then what chance does she have?

Hillary has never done anything except kibitz. She has never run anything but her mouth.

How pathetic is the democrat party to its black candidates, not to mention their constituents in this way.

I hate to admit it, but Senator Clinton’s campaign is right. Senator Obama is a coward. In fact, he was groomed for this run because of it. Here he’s campaigning against one of the worst leading party candidates IN HISTORY & he can’t articulate one mention about a whole multitude of inadequacies, not to mention immoralities against this woman (I’ll spare you the list. We already know it would take volumes); a candidate that touts experience yet has not one documented one to show for it - not one.

And the reason? I believe it is Senator Obama who is their straw dog who will roll over in the end & in the meantime doesn’t want to get too far ahead so that the coronation of Senator Clinton, former first lady of the United States.

I’m going to go out on a limb here. If the democrat controlled congress remains inept in 08 as they were in 07 & if their candidate, Senator Clinton especially, continues in their mealy mouthed way, they will loose big time in 11/08. A contrarian view compared to the Washington insiders, but from where I see it & middle America sees it, these guys shouldn’t run the mail room much less the rest of the government.

The DNC and Dems themselves must be utter idiots to tout this ‘Candidate for Change’ who ‘defended’ this presentvote practice as ‘business as usual in the State - to send a message that the bill needs work and I’m willing to work on it’ crock of slop. . .Some change - sounds like business as usual to me. . .And if they believe that 50.1% of Americans are stupid enough to buy into another Clinton dynesty soiling the WH and POTUS much less this inexperienced (but content to toe the ‘business as usual’ politics line) jr Senator as viable POTUS material -I find it offensive that they deem the people of the greatest nation in the World that damn stupid. I do believe that they do, considering the antics and financially and ethically challenged 110th Congress has shown and continues to display - and it will lead to the largest Dem defeat in American history.

I think between their desire to force their agendas on America, their complete and utter narcistic approach to life and their bds - they will continue to plow on ahead oblivious to all their failures and continue to destroy the DNC from within. . .If they weren’t doing serious damage to America at the same time - I’d laugh but I can’t while they run up a budget that is so pork filled - my grandchildren’s cholesterol will be sent out of wack by it. . . Not to mention their tax rates!
