These people are so ignorant it’s scary. Obama is making videos to pass on his kind regards and admiration to the Iranians, Hillary’s playing with toys and issuing grave threats to North Korea the likes of which has them shaking in their boots.
The leaders of the countries formerly known as the axis of evil must be laughing their buns off over this turn of events and I’m sure the people formerly known as terrorists are paying attention as well.

RealityBites, I”m not from Texas, but was stationed in the Army there for awhile; my brother-in-law was also stationed there El Paso, and have occasionally talked of settling there. If we were there we’d be cleaning up the border. I agree with your statement, on going into Mexico. Mexico would be smart for the oppurtunity. Don’t like their b.s. of keeping our U.S. guns and ammos, and refusing to proove it. And then Hillary backing them up why we are obligated to help them, yet Obama wants just feds over there. I know the corruption of feds, but at this point, think Obama is trying to get the knowledgable one’s killed off, so he can put his regime in there, and regime he can trust to not watchdog he and his new oOllah Left Army, recruits from ACORN. Mexico owes us for taking care of them. And they should be willing to serve in every way to make your idea a possiblity.

And as far as whatever the heck oOllah Obama meant by billions in transportation, there sure isn’t any available for U.S. to go help Fargo, ND, or Texas, AZ, Republican states. Plenty of US Anerican volunteers are out there, unlike ACORN motto “this is my house” b.s.

As a Texan, I must say I was about ready to track you down and kick yer ass. But since your Pelosi comment made me laugh out loud, I’ll forgive ya. It’s the way I roll.

But I’m still puzzling over your comment that there are as many gays in Texas as in San Francisco. That’s probably true; Texas is a big state. But what was your point? Nobody’s hating on the gays around here. At least 80% of the homophobia I see comes from the loving, inclusive types. (If you know what I mean and I know that you do.)

Canary: As a Yankee, I know we can be like hemorrhoids. “Sure, we come down for a while but sooner or later we go back up.” But, I gotta tell you, if there’s a God in heaven, he’s from Texas cause with all those burnt offerings in the Bible, you know he loves barbeque!

Though I only get to visit – my love for Texas is great. With the best food, music and fishin around (well actually it ain’t fishin’ it’s catchin’), settled by immigrants who made something out of the place only to have Mexico decide that the dirt patch they ignored for so long could turn some tax dollars their way – hence the war & Texas victory that won their independence.

The difference between Texas & the Mexican states to your south are language & their forefather’s lack of ability, will or both to fight for their own liberty. Like you Texans, they came from Europe too. Unlike you Texans, they didn’t have the balls or the backing from US Presidents Jackson & Tyler.

Imagine the possibilities of a free Mexico that is secured within its borders. Where a middle class can thrive & live free from the threats of corruption & worse. If it can happen in Iraq, it can certainly be attained in Mexico.

If Obama wanted to get on the right side of something, he wouldn’t put the American military on the border. He’d put the American on the other side of the border with General David Patraeus & his crew in charge – secure the local towns & cities, kill the bad guys & get commerce goin’ again back and forth across the border.

Thank God it’s Friday & long live the Great Republic of Texas. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to call the local feed store as to where the hell my hardwood charcoal order is for this weekend’s cookin’. Gotta keep the good Lord smilin’ after all. You know he does love a good smoke even if it is from Jersey (BBQ from NJ. Thank God for his grace!).

Excellant points canary. Dems embraced the “peanut under the shell” game to discredit anything Bush did and had the balls to directly point out other nations as the “culprit”. Well, the “culprit’s” are now getting video messages, which are denounced immediately; “unilaterial nuclear nonsense”, as a reaction to a missle ON the pad as we speak; all the while conducting the very same successful Bush policies they denounced (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, GITMO, etc.)

Dangerous politicking in dangerous times.. the DNA of liberals.
