Hillary: We Were ‘Dead Broke’ When We Left The WH

From a straight-faced Associated Press:

Clinton says pair ‘dead broke’ after White House

By KEN THOMAS | June 9, 2014

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton’s family was "dead broke" and saddled with legal bills when she and her husband left the White House, the former first lady said in an interview that aired Monday at the start of a high-profile book tour that could precede a 2016 presidential campaign.

Lest we forget, the Clintons established a (probably illegal) legal defense fund, to help protect Bill from justice. In fact, such luminaries as Charlie Trie and donated to the cause. Trie alone contributed $450,000 dollars. (Though, sadly, the Clintons were eventually forced to return most if not all of it.)

And who knows how much the Chi-Coms and other Clinton cronies gave them?

"We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt," Clinton told ABC News. "We had no money when we got there, and we struggled to, you know, piece together the resources for mortgages, for houses, for Chelsea’s education. You know, it was not easy." …

After leaving the White House, the Clintons bought two multi-million dollar mansions. They bought a $1.7 million mansion in Chappaqua, NY, so Hillary could claim residence in the state ahead of her 2000 Senate campaign. Then they purchased a $2.85 million mansion on Embassy Row in Washington D.C. That modest house has 5 bedrooms and 6 baths.

GOP officials pointed out that Hillary Clinton received an $8 million book advance for her 2003 memoir and said the comments reflected her insulation from the daily problems of average Americans…

According to the NYT, Hillary inked her book deal on December 16, 2000. A month before leaving office. Which is detail the AP studiously avoids. (NYT: "Hillary Clinton Book Advance, $8 Million, Is Near Record,’ By David D. Kirkpatrick, Published: December 16, 2000.)

Clinton’s memoir, "Hard Choices," will be released Tuesday, accompanied by interviews with ABC News and other news organizations…

Maybe we should all rush out and buy her latest ghostwritten autobiography. To help them make ends meet.

After leaving the White House, former President Bill Clinton earned a fortune in speaking fees while Hillary Clinton represented New York in the Senate. But the couple departed the White House with large legal bills incurred during investigations into Whitewater and the Monica Lewinsky affair.

Once again, they had a legal defense fund. They probably turned a profit on the whole thing.

Hillary Clinton’s Senate financial disclosure forms, filed for 2000, show assets between $781,000 and almost $1.8 million… The same form, however, showed that the Clintons owed between $2.3 million and $10.6 million in legal bills to four firms…

And whose fault is that?

In 2004, the Clintons paid off their legal bills, according to Senate disclosure forms. And by 2009, when Hillary Clinton was preparing to join President Barack Obama’s administration as secretary of state, the Clintons’ wealth was somewhere between $10 million and $50 million…

Bear in mind that the Clintons also set up a secret ‘family foundations’ to shelter their immense wealth from taxation. In 2007 the Washington Post reported that this family foundation saved them more than $5 million in taxes since 2001.

Anyway, now the Clintons are worth untold hundreds of millions now. And from doing what exactly?

Hillary’s F sexual themed luxury tour bus “Join the Movement” and “Ready for Hillary,” probably has a cash box.

    Proverbs 6:16-19

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Can’t wait to see her Campaign plane, but perhaps doctors told her not to go to high latitudes.
Maybe she’ll steal a chopper and paint it.

The country doesn’t need a President who went from riches to flat broke; on the flip side.
