LD, I lived at “The Beach” for about 10 years until I married my husband. I’m in Northern VA (which I cannot stand). I loved living in Hampton Roads and would live there again except my mother in law the lunatic (she really is-had two articles written about her and her ocd in the VA Pilot) lives there so my husband said we’d never live there again.
NC is a nice state. I used to drive through there a lot when I’d go home to visit my folks in FL. I was never stationed at Bragg when I was active duty. Seems like just about everyone is at some point but I never was. But I hear it’s a nice area.
