Yea, I thought about that, but I really think people are beginning to wake up and ask the hard questions. I believe the tide is turning along voting party lines. I haven’t heard anyone say they like their elected officials. Even those who qualify for the most government handouts are screaming they aren’t getting enough. Let’s keep our fingers crossed the good people are truly fed up.

This is interesting. Congress was hard at work yesterday — Congress — trying to figure out a fair play-off system for college football. Meanwhile, the NCAA spent the afternoon kicking around ideas on how to win the war in Afghanistan.

Thank god for the NCAA’s involvement in the Afghanistan problem, now we’ll get some common sense involved!

I am spreading the word to vote no incumbents in 2010 and 2012. If enough people did this I believe congress would be cleaned out. Now that would send a powerful message.

Everyone who voted for this bill should be voted out of congress and that includes that republican idiot who sponsored the legislation. There is no authority for Congress to get involved into how tournaments are played. Just cause the teams earn money doesn’t give Congress any right to interfere in the rules. What next, Congress going to change the strike zone? Congress going to change the number of games in the World Series? Congress going to change the designated batter rule? And the Energy Committee’s doing this while we have a national emergency on lack of energy production in this Country? This is a complete abdication of responsibility. Throw these bums out!!

What’s really remarkable is that Congress is wasting taxpayer dollars to even deliberate over this and that they think it’s something they should meddle in to begin with.

The arrogance of these people is unbelievable.

“I’m going to throw my weight around a little bit,” Obama said at the time. “I think it’s the right thing to do.”

When, exactly do you NOT think it’s the “right thing to do” ?
