I was only half-listening to Leno last night, and I think he made some sort of remark about this in his monologue last night (not a joke).

Shortly afterwards I heard him introduce a feature lampooning “what is George Bush doing nowadays?” and I heard a comic’s impersonation of Bush, and something about Mentos and an exposion.

Why oh why is TOTUS off limits for any kind of lampooning yet Bush is still a target?

I turned off the TV and sure won’t be watching Leno anytime soon.

That’s great; he’s the magic man, or in Biden’s words, the “magic negro.” But why do they assume what was brokered was a positive step towards ending the economic downturn? Just because there is a deal doesn’t mean it is a good one. The media is all pomp and circumstance. What happened to real journalism? The article hardly goes into detail about what was agreed upon, let alone the potentially disastrous effects this agreement could have on economic stability or national sovereignty. “Name and shame” isn’t description; it is a political tag line. But they are quick, although not in this article, to claim the Dow over 8000 was a direct result of this “great progress.” Too bad they aren’t as quick to assign a causal relationship to drops in the Dow to Obama’s policies.

Mark Levin ripped upon this on his show last night.

Anything to make Lil’ Barry look like a seasoned statesman. I guess they have to do this to make up for Lil’ Barry’s continued gaffes in trying to negotiate with the “moderate and non-violent Taliban”, LOL.

Obama suggested the G-20 merely take note of the OECD list?

WHAT?? And this is a major deal brokererd by Obama?

What am I not understanding? Admittedly I don’t know the significance of ‘the list’(I mean, I know it has to do with the tax havens)… But – Obama brokered a deal? , when he just made a relatively trivial contributioni… Commie Obommie contributed , it might have been a helpful suggestion – sort of like when your five year old asks you if you have your car keys but… this is hyperbole on steroids.

(And then, in another masterful act, Commie Obommie suggested they check the list twice to find out who’s been naughty or nice).

This is insane. I don’t mean to repeat what most know and have said far better than I can say, but we’re living in a time when truth absolutely does not matter because reality in politics, journalism, is all relative… and therefore incredibly easy to manipulate.

these meetings are completely settled before anyone shows up. no one can risk an embarrassing scene, so sitting down and having a photo op is merely formality. the media sets up the straw dog, “there may be some disagreements”, “this will be a true test of his legitamacy” etc. then when the predetermined outcome is announced, it’s,

“It was a remarkable stroke of personal diplomacy by a new president who’s making his debut this week on the world stage.”

if he is so remarkable a diplomat, he should go directly to pyong yang
