AP’s View Of Healthcare Demonstrators

Below are the sum total of recent photographs from the Associated Press featuring healthcare demonstrators, either pro or con, as published by Yahoo! News:

Supporters of health care reform rally outside the office of U.S. Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla., in Miami, Friday Aug. 7, 2009.

Tony Loconto holds a sign in support of health care reform during a rally outside the office of U.S. Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla., in Miami, Friday Aug. 7, 2009.

Obama Health Care supporter Keith Johnson of Saratoga Springs,N.Y., left, holds protest signs supporting government managed health care while talking with Werner Rentsch of Schoharie, N.Y. Johnson was counter protesting a anti-goverment managed health care rally in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009. Democrats and the White House are claiming that the sometimes rowdy protests that have disrupted Democratic lawmakers’ meetings and health care events around the country are largely orchestrated from afar by insurers, lobbyists, Republican Party activists and others.

[Pro healthcare] Protesters gather in front of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless’ Stout Street Clinic in Denver, Colo., on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, where House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., toured the facility and spoke about health care.

A demonstrator holds up a sign in support of a health care plan, in Lincoln, Neb., Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, just before a conservative political advocacy group, Americans for Prosperity, were to hold a rally to oppose the Democratic-led push to overhaul the country’s health-care system.

Note how it is never even suggested in the photo captions that the supporters of the Democrat healthcare reform are being orchestrated. (Never mind their highly professional looking signs. Or their union t-shirts.)

Meanwhile, just about every caption mentions that those opposed to the healthcare bill are organized or orchestrated by some nefarious group.

For a contrast, think back on all the anti-war demonstrations organized by ANSWER, the IVAW and Code Pink.

[AP photo and caption:] In this photo taken with a video camera, protesters march to the Pentagon during an Iraq war protest on Saturday, March 17, 2007 in Arlington, Va.

Did any of the thousands of photographs published by the Associated Press ever mention the purported organizers of those demonstrations?

Similarly, did we ever hear about how many of these selfsame groups were behind the ‘spontaneous grassroots’ demonstrations for amnesty during the summer of 2007?

Of course not.

What media bias?

    It’s quite telling isn’t it?

The media are puppets of the Moron.

And every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie.

So why should we expect more from the media?

And the real story is told excellently by El Marco:

Curvy…super link! Gives us heads up as to what to expect in DC.
I expect the lefties well do their best to shout us down and push us out of the way.

No matter. It will take more than that to shut us all up. I expect the more they do like this the more people it will wake up and the larger the outcry will be the next day from the conservs and more.

I find it both fascinating and horrifying that the commies are so boldly coming out…and still the sheep follow. Sad.

I especially find that the dude right behind Cindy standing with his fist in the air…interesting. Is he a “jihadist” protesting American involvement in the war? That would be a paradox if there ever was one.

Does he actually thing we will not defend ourselves?

      Oh, Canary….ROFLMAO!!!!

I only wish I spoke Spanish!!!!

I just spoke to an old co worker tonight for the first time in ages…she wanted to go to DC so badly with us on 9/12 but has surgery on the 9/13 so she can’t go.

She’s a Cuban who escaped Castro and could have at the very least been mostly understood by the Mexican illegals! Dang!

    • canary

que ROFLAMO? Ponga elarma en el suelo. Put your weapon on the ground…. Echese en el suelo Lie on the ground…. Muevase muy despacio. Move very slowly…. The Raid and giving DUI field test are pretty cool.

This is from Barron’s Spanish for Law Enforcement Personnel William C. Harvey, M.S. Second Edition includes 3 Audio compact discs. It includes everday, travel, auto, great for hospital or medical professionals too. It gives the pronounciations as I show below. 24.99 Most don’t. emergency, medical terms, symptoms) household items, foods ( In case someone is thirsty crossing the border). Federal government words, Court, Coast Guard, Legal Terminology Border control. Terrorism. Assassination, & reversed dictionary. I got it for safety and medical part, and the increase of crime.

emergency! la emergencia! (lah eh-mehr-‘hehn-see ah)

sorry about your friend. I met a Republican woman from Cuba and she told me all about how they brainwashed people, and she had to flee country, because she was too outspoken, and they took her father away for a week, and it was best for her to leave. She is very proud to be a Republican in American.

    • jobeth

ROFLMAO…rolling on the floor laughing my a** off. :-D

Maria’s father was a well off business man, but they fled after Castro came into power. Their business was taken from the and they were only allowed to leave with the clothes on their backs. No money.

She is a avid conservative/republican and dearly loves this country and agrees with us in that she says people better wake up…and soon. I don’t think you can meet a more patriotic American than those of this first group to leave right after Castro took over. There are other Cuban refugees who are patriotic to be sure…but this first group really “got it”. I’m in agreement with the policy we have if they make it to shore, they get to stay…I wish we could allow them to stay if they at least made it into US waters. The Elian Gonzales (sp?) situation was a disgrace on this nation.

The problems that Miami has now usually come from the prisoners that came years later in the Murial (sp?) boat lift. Before that there wasn’t a lot of problems.
      A few bad apples…

She was watching the TV coverage of the health care protests and although we haven’t contacted each other for about 4 years she said all she could think about is how I was reacting to all this! LOL. So she called.

She is up in arms as much as I am. Wish she could go…She is also one to say what she thinks….Love that attitude!

they are everywhere. Communists Socialists Radical muslims, Illegal mexicans. See by that phamplet all should get social security numbers, no one should be considered illegal, automatic voting rights.

Obama has really pushed this with all his amnesty promises, no borders, b.s. Let them all go back to their homelands they are so proud of or to Mexico where there is room for all of them to start their own country and make their own rules. It can all be done peacefully, just like they want. The way they travel everywhere it should not be any problem to find a huge piece of unused terrority. They like camping out, and living in tents. That’ll work til they get their commune built. Find some other country they would feel is their home. Sick of American haters demanding our country.
