How Columbia U Welcomed The “Minutemen”

The anti-Minutemen “protest” at Columbia University, October 04, 2006, as reported by the school’s own Columbia Television News, via YouTube:

Minutemen Protest

CTV’s Natalie Yammine brings us live footage of students storming the stage during a speech by the Minutemen Project on October 4, 2006 at Columbia University.

The Minutemen Project is a group of civilians who voluntarily patrol the United States-Mexico border. They were invited by the Columbia College Republicans to speak on Columbia’s campus. There was a large gathering of protesters outside the speech as well as the protest inside.

IRINN (Iran) – 8/2/2006

But hey, we need to hear what he has to say, right?

Unlike those hateful “Minutemen.”

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, right, shakes hands with John H. Coatsworth, Dean of the School of International Affairs at Columbia University, after Ahmadinejad’s speech at the University in New York, Monday Sept. 24, 2007.

Yes, quite a difference.
