Husband Run Over For Not Voting For Romney

From the ABC affiliate in Gilbert, AZ, KNXV:

Gilbert PD: Daniel Solomon run over by wife, Holly Solomon, for not voting

By Deborah Stocks, Corey Rangel | November 12, 2012

GILBERT, AZ – A Mesa woman was arrested Saturday after she allegedly chased her husband around a Gilbert parking lot in an SUV during an argument over the presidential election. The woman finally ran over her husband, leaving him with critical injuries.

According to a Gilbert police report, the argument started over her husband’s lack of voter participation in the recent election.

Holly Solomon, 28, apparently believed her family was going to face hardship as a result of President Barack Obama’s re-election.

Solomon’s husband, Daniel Solomon, told police his wife "just hated Obama" and was very angry he was re-elected and blamed the President for problems her family is going through.

Mrs. Solomon seems perfectly reasonable so far.

Except that Romney did carry Arizona. She should have gone to Ohio to push her get out the vote drive.

Witnesses reported a lot of yelling just before Holly got into a Jeep SUV and began chasing her husband through the parking lot near Gilbert and Elliot roads.

"He got out of the car and she was screaming at him. And he started walking away and she started driving in circles around him and she wouldn’t let him go so finally he took off to try to get away and she ran into him," a called told a 911 dispatcher.

Daniel reportedly took refuge behind a light pole while Holly drove around the pole several times while continuing to yell at him.

Police said Daniel tried to run away toward Gilbert Road as Holly pursued him in the vehicle. She eventually struck her husband and he was pinned underneath, between the vehicle and a curb. Daniel was taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center and remains there in critical condition, according to police.

This is taking that whole "Vote Or Die’ thing to extremes.

Besides, if she had killed her husband, he would just end up voting Democrat, anyway.

Holly was taken into custody and booked into jail for domestic violence charges of aggravated assault. Police said there were no indications that Holly was impaired by alcohol or drugs during the incident.

According to a police report, Daniel told police his wife is six months pregnant.

Well, no wonder she is so concerned about the future of the country.

  1. You see? It’s those craaazy conservatives again! Can’t be trusted, those Tea Party types. Shrill and paranoid rants against our president, and constant, vicious attacks on people who disagree with them.

Seriously, I would love to know the real story of voter intimidation, election fraud, and personal abuse of conservatives. This story is one example.

I guess the guy didn’t think to either take the keys out of the ignition when he left the car or just stay near the light pole until police came. It’s pretty safe to say if he roles were reversed this would never have hit the news—much like how the 60% voter turnout in Philadelphia became ward after ward voting 100%Obama. One of the people who was interviewed said there was a registered Republican who’d lived in their ward but they must have run him off. This massive and unrealistic swing to Obama is more telling than what was essentially a domestic dispute that got out of hand.

I think the media is not telling the whole truth. There had to been many marital and other problems for her to do such an insane act.

Maybe the skyrocketing gas prices to run the SUV had her worried and she was just trying to total it to get underneath. Just kidding.

So which one had the bat and the black beret? Oops! Wrong city, different election.
    Don’t worry folk’s Eric Holder is at the helm. It’s a white-thing.

Maybe an easier way out than waiting for Obama’s drive by.
