If Elections Were Today Romney Would Win (Yet Again)

From CNN:

CNN Poll: Romney tops Obama but loses to Clinton

July 27, 2014

Washington (CNN) – If a rematch of the 2012 presidential election were held today, GOP nominee Mitt Romney would top President Barack Obama in the popular vote, according to a new national survey.

Remember how Obama let it be known during the campaign he couldn’t stand the idea of losing to Romney, because then Romney would get all of the credit for turning the country around, when it would all be due to Obama’s doing? Good times.

But a CNN/ORC International poll also indicates that if Romney changes his mind and runs again for the White House, Hillary Clinton would best him by double digits in a hypothetical showdown.

Thank Allah, CNN added that about Hillary. Otherwise, we might have gotten the impression that the American people were waking up.

The survey, released Sunday morning, also suggests that more Americans see Clinton as a strong and capable leader than those who feel the same way about Obama…

What a laugh. Hillary has failed in every job she has ever had. She failed as a wife (by her own admission). She failed as a lawyer. She failed as a bimbo eruption manager. She failed as a US Senator. And she failed spectacularly as a Secretary Of State.

Heck, she has even failed at promoting her own ghostwritten autobiography.

According to the poll, if the 2012 election were somehow held again, Romney would capture 53% of the popular vote, with the President at 44%. Obama beat Romney 51%-47% in the popular vote in the 2012 contest.

Last November, an ABC News/Washington Post survey indicated that if the 2012 election were held again, Romney would have had a 49%-45% edge over Obama in the popular vote…

If only we had a parliamentary system.

The CNN poll – just like almost every national and state survey preceding it – indicates that the former secretary of state remains the overwhelming frontrunner for the Democratic nomination. Clinton is seriously considering a second White House run…

The hell you say. Of course that was the only reason CNN even ran and published this poll. To promote their darling.

    Balderdash.

If the election were held today, Nerobama would win easily.

After all, since the 2012 election he has imported six or seven million new voters from Central America and Asia.

And for what? To better manage the decay. This place is broke & Washington did it putting our money where their mouth is.

Get 60% of the states to ratify a Constitutional Convention, write in limits on Federal Reach & Authority & in the process shutting down the IRS, DOE, EPA, NSTA, HSA, HHS, et al. & replacing it with what we started with; state’s rights within one united republic AND RATIFY IT!

    • The easiest thing to do would be to freeze all hiring at the federal level indefinitely. Don’t hire any replacements as the federal employees retire. The budget would balance in 4 or 5 years and the size of government would again be manageable. Then abolish the rest of the alphabet soup.

A CNN poll is a joke.
