If It’s Sunday, Hillary Is In A Black Church

From the wire services:

Democratic presidential candidate US Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is seen through the doorway of the Greater Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church as she speaks during Sunday church services in St. Louis, Missouri February 3, 2008.

The only surprise is that Chelsea attended this campaign stop church service with her.

Previously the Clinton family (of convenience) has fanned out, with Hillary, Bill and Chelsea each hitting separate campaign venues churches.

Chelsea Clinton, center, daughter of Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., and former President Bill Clinton, holds hands with Vernon Jordan, left, and Jannie R. Jackson, right, while attending Bible Way Church of Atlas Road in Columbia, S.C., Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008.

The focus groups must have not found that very compelling. And of course Bill is busy planning his “black apology” tour.

Still, we fully expect that the IRS will conduct a thorough investigation of these tax exempt (and prohibited from politicking) churches.

Any minute now.
