“Illegal immigration” is an oxymoron. If it’s immigration, it is not illegal, and if they are here illegally they are not immigrants, are they? Maybe it’s time that a more accurate term be coined to describe these people. I’ll start the process — how about “foreign trespassers”? Ron Olliff, in the Washington Times

What gets me so fired-up about this topic is the simple fact that there is no logic to this argument. I mean if we went to any country illegally and got caught we would be locked up and forgotten about. How can any sane person make this an American problem or our fault? It is plain for everyone to see that it is illegal for anybody to cross our border without the proper authorization. If I do something stupid I have to accept the responsibility, so why should anyone care what happens to people that clearly break our laws. They did something stupid now they should take on the responsibility of those actions, just like the rest of us.

The question keeps waiting: What have these hardworking, long-suffering, committed-to-social-activism people done in their own countries to A) Reform their own elections B) Promote industry and trade in their own economies C) Promote “income equity” in their own tax structures?????

And what about the American bleeding heart do-gooders who move heaven and earth to help them get “social justice”? Wouldn’t it do the whole world more good for them to go to Central America and agitate? Or are they afraid that would be too difficult?

Well, there’s a simple reply to that common message: if you don’t want your families split up, then do not live ILLEGALLY (look this word up if it doesn’t make sense to you) in a foreign country. Pretty simple. What did Fox say he does to folks that are in his country illegally?
