Iran: Cut Off The Hands Of The Zionists!

From Iran’s Fars News Agency:

Iran Wants UNSC Resolution against Israel

June 1, 2010

TEHRAN (FNA) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday asked the UN Security Council to issue a decisive resolution against Israel to stop the Zionist regime from committing further crimes.

"I ask the UN Security Council member states to put Zionist regime’s crimes on their agenda and to take the Zionists’ hands off (committing) further crimes through a decisive resolution," Ahmadinejad said during a tour of the western province of Ilam today.

Actually, that should read: “cut off the Zionists’ hands to keep them from committing…” Of course that is the standard Sharia penalty for thievery. — And any number of other infractions.

"If they want the Security Council to keep its position in the world, the scene is set for their test today," the President added.

Ahmadinejad also stated that the Zionist regime of Israel plans to launch another massive war against Gaza, and warned "Committing crimes is enough after 65 years (since the formation of Israel) and I warn you that if you dare to commit a crime against anywhere, including Gaza, the regional nations’ storm of wrath will uproot you."

The Iranian President also warned Israeli supporters and allies that their continued support for the Zionist regime would mean complicity in all the crimes committed by the regime and would eventually lead to their trial by the world nations.

Ahmadinejad’s comments came a day after Israeli commandos stormed an aid convoy sailing to the Gaza Strip in international waters more than 150km (90 miles) off the coast of Gaza early Monday morning, killing 20 human rights activists and injuring 50 more.

And from Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency:

Zionist regime preparing for massive attack on Gaza: President

Ilam, June 1, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that the Zionist regime is preparing for a massive attack on Gaza strip in order to make up for its previous defeats.

The President said that existence of the Zionist regime is intertwined with war, invasion, threat and terror.

“The Zionist regime was formed for murder, terror and aggression,” said the President addressing a large crowd in this western province.

He arrived here Tuesday morning on the third round of his provincial tours.

His remarks were in condemnation of Monday’s fatal attack of the Zionist regime’s forces on a flotilla of ships which were carrying humanitarian aid for the oppressed people of Gaza. At least 20 people were killed during the savage attack.

“The regional states will eradicate the Zionist regime, if it carries out an attack on Gaza,” President Ahmadinejad warned Zionist leaders.

He called on the United Nations Security Council to issue a resolution about Zionists’ fatal attack on the peace flotilla.

"If the UNSC wants to preserve its status and position, it should know that now is the time of a big test and the Council must show that it does not issue resolutions only based on the will of the US and its masters," said the President.

And from the Supreme Leader himself, via Iran’s Irib English Radio:

Leader: Attack on Flotilla, act of lunacy

June 1, 2010

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei says the United States, Britain and France must be held accountable for an Israeli attack on a Gaza-bound aid convoy.

The Leader said the attack on the international convoy was an act of lunacy, adding that the attack brings Israel closer to its end.

The leader added that Zionism is a new and more aggressive face of fascism which is this time supported by governments claiming to be advocates of freedom and human rights with the US above all.

The Leader said that the symbolic act of sending aid convoys to the impoverished strip should be repeated in various forms and means over and over again.

Thanks to the UN, Russia, China and our allies in Europe, the Iranians will soon have the nuclear weapons to carry out their threats.

Then we will have a so much safer world.

U.N. Security Council Condemns ‘Acts’ in Israeli Raid
By NEIL MacFARQUHAR and ALAN COWELL
    Published: June 1, 2010

UNITED NATIONS — After hours of negotiations, the United Nations Security Council early on Tuesday condemned “acts” resulting in the deaths of nine civilians in Israel’s attack on an aid flotilla trying to breach the Gaza blockade.

In a formal statement that seemed less forceful than what had been demanded by the Palestinians, Arab nations and Turkey, the council also demanded an impartial investigation into the confrontation.

The statement urged that aid ships seized in the raid on Monday be released along with civilians held by Israel.

“The Security Council deeply regrets the loss of life and injuries resulting from the use of force during the Israeli military operation in international waters against the convoy sailing to Gaza,” the statement said, adding that the 15-member body “in this context, condemns those acts which resulted in the loss” of lives.

“The Security Council requests the immediate release of the ships as well as the civilians held by Israel,” the United Nations statement said, calling for “a prompt, impartial, credible and transparent investigation conforming to international standards.”

It also said the situation in Gaza, under blockade by Israel, was “not sustainable” and called for a “sustained and regular flow of goods and people to Gaza, as well as unimpeded provision and distribution of humanitarian assistance throughout Gaza.”

On the broader Palestinian-Israeli confrontation, the Security Council renewed calls for a two-state solution and voiced concern that the raid on the flotilla took place while United States-sponsored so-called “proximity talks” were under way.

But the Obama administration refused to endorse a statement that singled out Israel, and it proposed a broader condemnation of the violence that would include the assault by passengers of the Israeli commandos as they landed on the deck of the ship.

I am sure that will be the emphasis that people and the MSM will get from this as it is so clearly communicated through this resolution.. right?
